Coronavirus - What Happened?

@Alrightmiami19c, There are a handful(maybe? Two that I can name off the top of my head) of decent people in Congress.

You are the female Zep/Ed. Using an ad hominem, then talking about an incident you can’t even come close to recalling correctly. With the length of time you’ve been posting here, I assume your issues are due to menopause. You should seek treatment.

Were his colleagues not maskinated? If not, then they were obviously begging for infection. If so, they were safe.

Even wannabe comedians know that you don’t attempt the same joke over and over again.

That’s not a joke.

Join date says 9 years after you. And you’re not sounding very Christian!

I’ve got you rookies both beat.

Huh? How so? I can’t wait for this.

It’s a joke. It’s just an unfunny joke.

He’s crazy to think he could outsmart a Sicilian.

Better, @NickViar ?

He’s one of the best. Id be proud if I lived in Kentucky to vote for Rand.

Both that I can name are Kentuckians.

How many collegues were infected by contact with Rand? How many died?

Many feelings and sensibilities were hurt and offended, and at least half(by my estimation, which is pretty much almost always sometimes right) died. And that’s enough for @H_factor. Because he believes all scientism.

That’s irrelevant. Perhaps I can take heroin and drive 100 miles and no one dies. Irresponsible and potentially deadly to other people.

We would expect a senator and someone who calls themselves a doctor to be a little less selfish and a little more intelligent.

Serious question: Will it ever NOT be selfish and irresponsible to be unmasked in public again? What could realistically make that possible?

During Covid the majority of people I have seen haven’t been masked. They haven’t ever viewed it as selfish or irresponsible. And I’m sure it will be again.

A lot of Americans haven’t once followed the advice that so many whine about. It’s a badge of honor among the rural people and they share Facebook memes like I’m strong because I don’t wear a mask and you’re weak because you do.

I bet my area has been about 20-30% masked in the last four months unless in an area where it is mandated like the doctor. The vast majority of places I’ve been to that say they have mask mandates don’t even remotely enforce them or have tried to.

I would say vaccine and time. But again that’s my opinion and not shared by a whole bunch of Americans who haven’t done any of this the entire time. No matter how easy or how many cases/deaths. But I must just be really weak or something. I don’t remember feeling strong by not wearing a mask for three minutes at a gas station.

But that’s a whole different thing than Rand Paul. It was basically the beginning of the thing and it was accepted at the time to be safe with a known exposure and self quarantine. Also to be careful around the elderly. He ate lunch with them and swam in the Senate pool. Selfish and irresponsible behavior.

No it’s not.

I’m shocked to hear you say that.

Which led to countless infections and stacks of rotting corpses.

Or perhaps the viral boogeyman isn’t as bad as we are supposed to believe it is.

Actually this was almost the very beginning where many of us in this thread weren’t predicting we’d be over 500,000 deaths in a year.

In fairness, people ARE dying that have never died before! :grimacing:
