In other related news Trump could have secured more vaccine doses from Pfizer after he committed to the first 100 million but refused. Now that next 100 million doses have been sold to European countries and we’ll have to wait until June to get the next batch. Since the vaccines need to be administered twice, 100 million doses vaccinates 50 million people.

We are at about 287,000 deaths right now, and based on an average death/day rate of 2000 we will pass the halfway point of the 1918 flu (337,500 deaths) in 25 days.
This means, if considering today as day 1, by Sunday January 3rd we will have marked 337+k deaths.
Well bloody hell… read a news article that even with the introduction of a vaccine its going to take awhile in getting it under control. Apparently the task force is estimating that 100m need vaccinated to put a significant dent in the spread. Which now is estimated to happen by spring. So basically winter is going to be a bitch
