Well there you go, the virus could have very well come about naturally (we have no evidence to the contrary of course) and certain people in positions of authority aren’t letting it go to waste. Nothing nefarious about the virus itself, but potentially something nefarious about the way it and related issues like the economy are being dealt with.
A few months ago, carbon emissions were at the lowest they have been in decades due to the shutdowns. Then next thing you know they say that even with reduce emissions the global temperature still continued to rise. Not to get into a debate climate change, but doesn’t that give the impression that any increase in temperature might have nothing to do with carbon emissions? But in any case, things aren’t back to 100% of what they were previously and aren’t about to be, the economy is fucked, and rather than try to get things back on track the main priority is the green agenda of increased taxes and artificial poverty. That’s nefarious as hell, and there are people who are going to get very rich off it too, businesses that can’t possibly stay afloat will get massive government subsidies due to their greenness.
What do you guys think about this? Trump is trying to rush a vaccine, Biden actually sounds reasonable for a moment. I thought the Republicans were the party with all the anti-vaccine people.

I don’t even know what to think, why would they be concerned about a deliberate release of SARS?
Why is this even a question? Like, SARS was in 2002 and a deliberate release event been on the terrorist watch scenario for a long long time. Along with Anthrax, MERS, and a host of other nasties.
Moderna specializes in RNA vaccines and it’s in their financial interest to build one. They might even be in talks with the government for a contract to develop a response for military personnel, like many companies are for weapon systems and training.
Mostly I’m just trying fuck with Mr. H and see what he tells me I believe this time. If it was some top secret scheme they wouldn’t have it available online like that.
yeah, I’m so pissed from having to stay home. for some reason, this is bothering me more than when we had to stay home 3 months during the lockdown.
luckily enough, I’m in my deload week so I wouldn’t have trained anyway, and I’ll just miss one week at the gym. school also starts next Wednesday, and we have online classes. so at least that.
I wouldn’t say “all” Republicans are anti-vaxxers. In fact, I know people belonging to all different political angles that are “anti-vaxxers” and I think they’re nuts.
Does that mean I’ll voluntarily get a COVID-19 vaccine? No. But the anti-vaxxers are against things such as MMR, etc. etc.
I think if a vaccine is released and proven to work, it’ll score him major political points. Though at this point, it’s not necessary, as he’s crushing Sleepy Joe.

Biden is right, it’s too much of a rush to be sure it’s safe. Last time the rushed to make a vaccine was with H1N1/Swine flu and the vaccine actually increased the risk of infection and severe complications, complete opposite of what it was supposed to do. I already had COVID and it didn’t do anything to me, there is no point in me taking a vaccine anyway, but the way this is going there is no way i would even consider it.

I have bands, and I’ll do bodyweight stuff. But really, only saving factor is that this thing happened in the middle of my deload week. I wouldn’t have trained until Monday anyway, so I’ll only miss training until the following Monday. I bet if I do bodyweight stuff during this one and only week that won’t set me back at all.
You might be a bit weaker when you get back to the gym but you will get back to where you were fast, and if you do bw and band stuff then you don’t need to worry about losing muscle. I would be frustrated too, but its not the end of the world.
Funny thing, some places like Quebec reduced the quarantine period to 10 days, apparently there are only a few days where you can be contagious unless you get really sick.
the only thing that really frustrates me is the fact that the doctor that interviewed me via phone and asked me questions about how much space I share with him (very little, despite living in the same house) said that, according to my answers, I qualify as being at “little risk,” but added that “in our city cases are growing rapidly and we need to take stricter measures,” so I got put into quarantine anyway.
I have little to no contact with my father and I always kept safety distance ever since this thing started. I see people that act in a way that makes you wonder if they are asking for the virus to infect them, and they get away with it. I’ve been super responsible during these previous 10 months, didn’t do anything stupid, and now I’m paying for someone else not paying attention.
