Coronavirus - What Happened?

I wasn’t denying the event took place. The dumbass conspiracy theory part is linking it to what’s going on right now. Which you did.

You have. Numerous and numerous times. No one is stopping you. It’s just odd how often you post conspiracy theories and then counter with “oh I don’t believe it…”

Maybe Infowars shouldn’t be your homepage is all I’m saying.

It’s not really much of a stretch to link it to what is happening, it’s almost the same story. Of course it could just be a coincidence and as you said they have been preparing for a pandemic for a while. It certainly proves nothing, but it’s much more suspicious than the production and sale of equipment which is used for COVID tests among other things.

Why is it odd? Am I not allowed to post something I don’t believe in? It’s odd how you keep starting pointless arguments about nothing. What do you want from a me, a false confession that I believe in bullshit conspiracy theories?

My take on all this conspiracy stuff is that you can look at information and find inconsistencies or odd coincidences which cast suspicion on the official narrative of various events and issues, but to put together bits and pieces of information and come up with your own story of what really happened is a waste of time because you can’t prove anything. You might be able to find evidence of lies and deceit, but you can’t find the true story by reading stuff on the internet.

Alex Jones is the biggest bullshitter out there, I pay zero attention to anything he says. It’s part entertainment and part disinformation.

This should be your first thought if you’re rational.

I’m not stopping you. You just do it a bunch. “Here’s something that seems fishy…not saying I believe it though.”

Well you’re drawing from his playbook regularly. So you’re either reading a similar site or something.

But it’s whatever. Maybe it was all some sort of sinister plot that the overlords have been preparing for years.

There is no way to know for sure if it was pre-planned or anything of that sort, that’s all speculation. However, there certainly is some sort of agenda behind the way it is being handled. I realize that you live in a Republican state and things there are totally different than elsewhere, so you need to look at what is happening in other places. The World Economic Forum is calling this “The Great Reset” and essentially pushing a sort of global economic revolution. As you can see, a lot of small businesses are going under but this gives big corporations a larger share of the market and also they can buy up other stuff at bargain prices.

Also the UN has this “green agenda” which involves carbon taxes and a bunch of bullshit that consumers rather than corporations will pay for. Of course Trump isn’t into that, but many other countries such as Canada are. Is this a good idea when the country is on the verge of an economic collapse?

https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/other/liberals-to-unveil-ambitious-green-agenda-in-throne-speech-trudeau-says/ar-BB18ElXw?ocid=msedgntp

The problem with these carbon taxes is that they have to be so high that people really can’t afford to buy certain products for them to have an effect. Trudeau and other left wing assholes have said it themselves, they need to gradually increase the carbon tax for it to have a significant effect. We were paying around 75 cents a litre for gas a few months ago, they put the carbon tax on it and now it’s a dollar. Is that actually going to stop you from driving? It will have to be several times higher to make a noticeable impact on driving habits.

As for the green agenda, you have people on the other side of the debate who think that pollution is fine and we don’t need to worry about the effects on the planet. I totally disagree with those people. Just look how many bodies of water are toxic, places like China where they were wearing masks for a long time due to smog, and other things of that sort. That is obviously not good for anyone or anything, but the “green agenda” is about pushing people into poverty so that they can’t buy more than the bare essentials.

Bro. It’s a lot is all. Keep on keeping on.

I’m just pointing out you’ve done this tons of times in the thread and I probably missed examples.

That was the best one, it was intended as a joke (“deceive the world” sounds serious to you?) but you lost your mind over it.

You should re-read all these quotes, in just about all of them I say something to the effect that it isn’t necessarily true. I don’t know about you, but I’m capable of reading a thinking about stuff that I don’t believe is true. Apparently a lot of people have a hard time with that.

Some people on here need to read Eco’s Foucault’s Pendulum.

Well that’s what you said after people called you out on it. Which is another consistency with you. Say something outlandish which is in line with what you’ve been posting then say “just kidding guys!” Still funny that you call it a joke with numerous other posts talking about how Gates is probably up to something.

The point remains that you throw conspiracy theories out quite often and then pretend you don’t believe any of them after someone calls you on it.

Just incapable of not posting the things you don’t believe are true I guess.

It was a joke, and I do think that Gates is up to something. If I was serious about that comment then I would have said so, and I would have worded it differently. China has their own vaccine, they also have less COVID-related restrictions than most of the western world last I heard. I don’t think they are working together.

Your logic is weird. When I tell a joke I’m actually serious, but when I say it was a joke I’m lying and trying to cover for myself. You sound like the conspiracy theorist, except you traded in the tinfoil hat for a mask and a plastic bubble.

It’s definitely a stretch and a coincidence. Incidentally, almost all war games scenarios are realistic and modeled on what’s likely to happen in a real shooting war. Same goes for pandemic simulations, and there are a TON of overlapping things with all virus outbreaks.

Not at all. It’s the economics of scale - it is ALWAYS easier for rich people to make money off of an opportunity than poor people - because they have the spare resources to take advantage. It is also always easier for them to bounce back from a major slump for the same reason.

The same goes for major corporations - where mom and pop have 5 - 10 people, major corps have entire departments looking for ways to take advantage of opportunities in down turns, and they have the deep pocket books and access to investors to leverage those positions.

There’s absolutely nothing agenda driven about that. It’s simple economics of scale.

EDIT - I’m not going to comment on the World Economic Forum, since I don’t read it

The part you addressed is certainly not agenda driven, what I’m talking about is the fact that governments around the world have taken measures that are sure to cripple small businesses and enrich large ones, plus push this “green agenda” bullshit that just means more taxes and regulations.

Which is why I’m not jumping to conclusions, just mentioning that it’s an odd coincidence but not an implausible one.

Ok. Read your posts and read mine and if you think I sound like a conspiracy theorist I don’t know what to tell you. I’m not sure what a mask or plastic bubble has to do with me not coming to ridiculous conclusions and trying to read into all these “coincidences.”

The simplest answer is often the correct one. Not the most convoluted that requires adding multiple things together to say “hey what about this?!”

This would be a good read for you.

Ok, I admit it. I believe all the things I say I don’t believe in. The earth is flat, Trump is playing 3d chess, and little green martians run the world.

I don’t agree. At least not intentionally. Bureaucracy is notoriously inept when it comes to fiscal policy. Moreover congressional and parliamentary reps are almost never the most intelligent about these things. One look at the US Congress can show this easily.

You’re confusing outcomes with planning. Large orgs have more financial leverage, more reach, more access to capital, and more human resources (i.e. employees to act on new directions). They are almost always more agile and infinitely better equipped to change tack and take advantage.

Sure. But that’s been around forever, and as a famous politician said “never let a crisis go to waste”. There doesn’t need to be anything nefarious about that.

Lol. Love this quote:

Trump, Kasparov says, “operates in really a short-term environment. … [T]he way he communicates with the world definitely shows lack of any strategical calculations.”

So true.

Kasparov watches Putin’s actions, frustrated by what he sees as the lack of chesslike geopolitical strategy from democratic forces. “We’ve yet to see political leaders who can think beyond their term in the office,” he says. “That’s what strategy means, because in democracy, you have continued [government]. A dictator doesn’t care what happens when he’s gone, so it’s all about survival.”

Highly accurate, sadly.
