Coronavirus - What Happened?

They usually just No True Scotsman socialism.

No it isn’t.

However, the amount of people in this group is close to 0%.

You’re right because that’s what you want to hear.

There, happy?

Now everybody else that respects God given rights, the commensurate responsibilities, and rule of law can point and laugh when people like you say dumb stuff about being all kinds of freedumb.

So quit pretending to be any kind of conservative. You aren’t.

I’m pretty sure Rand Paul is in that small group. Is he not?

Not sure the details regarding Rand Paul.

The issue with Corona is that most feel no symptoms for a period of time that they have it and can transmit it. We are not sure if having it once makes one immune, and we have a lack of testing.

The point is that is very hard to be sure you don’t have it.

If the Senate didn’t have a rule requiring them then no. Of course you didn’t address my actual post and instead tried to change the subject.

It just further proves he’s a douchebag who Trump emasculated.

Nobody knows if you can be reinfected after having had CV. There have been instances of reinfection (though some were false positives), tight? Also, because the virus has multiple mutations now, i would think a person could catch it again.

In rand’s case, he was making a point. We all know that.

If his point was to risk other people’s health and to be a gigantic asshole he made that point clearly.

no, there’s actually no hard evidence of that. There are zero people who fall into this category at this point. Every case where someone has tested positively, then subsequently tested negative, then positive again can be explained by either bad tests (in either direction). If it was possible to get it again, in the short term, then we’d have more than just a case here and there where it seems like someone got it again. We’d have thousands and thousands of inicidents, not just a few.

So we know, without a doubt, that we develop short term immunity to Covid 19 in its current form. No one who has contracted Covid has tested negative, then positive again after a month. The question that is still unanswered is how long term immunity will look. We don’t know if this will become an annual seasonal issue for the population.

I think it’s safe to assume it will, at least in some states.
Edit for clarity: ā€œItā€ being lockdowns based on some danger.

huh? why? no.

I’m talking about incidence of people getting it twice. We DEFINITELY don’t know if that can happen. You have to be talking about people still getting it for the first time.

This could absolutely be a one-and-done thing, for all we know. Like any other pandemic the world has face, like the spanish flu. It happened, it killed a bunch of people, and it was eradicated. Corona may be that, or it may be an annual threat. Waaaaay too early to even speculate on which will be the case.

EDIT: I posted before your edit showed up, lol. I think maybe we are saying something similar then.

See my edit.

Wait…
It was only selfish if he violated Senate rules by not wearing one?

Trump must be a heck of a man, emasculating one of the handful that hadn’t yet been.

I think Paul’s neighbor did most of the emasculating, Trump opportunistically piled on.

Didn’t Paul already have it? If so that’s somewhat more justifiable.

That’s how I pictured you all along.

Have you seen Rand? I mean, first off he was named after a woman (or some creature that sort of resembled a human female) second, have you seen Rand?

Good point. I say the same thing about the men on the planes that terrorists took over on 9/11.

They weren’t all former Navy SEALS like you.
