We have a giant gun thread so I hate to continue to have this derailed so much. If any type of legislation about guns is communist then the vast majority of Americans when polled on the subject see commies.
I donāt even understand the question. Maybe itās because youāre trying to have a gotcha moment. There have been different types of confiscation and for different reasons so I canāt answer a question that vague.

Every title be like, āNew YorkāShocking pictures: mass graves in Hart island due to coronavirusā. If I were in the confession thread, Iād probably confess my hate for journalism. I feel like the one and only task of journalists is to put everything under magnifying lens and trying to make everything sound like a shocking scandalous news.
Mental health is handled atrociously in our state and I would assume the situation is the same around the country. A girl my wife used to attend school with might be alive if we handled it better.

Yep. Itās insanely hard to get a hospital bed in Kansas for mental health services. Itās long past time we viewed mental health as important as physical health. I can only hope that other states arenāt as shitty as we are in regards to this.

One of my clients just had his son commit suicide Tuesday morning. The mental health cost of this quarantine absolutely needs to be included when the post crisis analysis is done. This crisis affects every aspect and corner of society

The good times ended quite abruptly, in a lot of different ways for a lot of different people.
A certain percentage of hardcore BJJ people have had their major coping mechanism for whatever their struggle was ripped out. I hope they are hanging in ok.
Iām just a hobbyist so Iām coping fine without training.

We are long overdue as a society for making changes in the mental health area. Maybe this crisis will help people realize the holes we have in our nations healthcare system.
Iām doing ok from a financial standpoint. Iām getting overtime pay weāre working so many hours over salary. But being away from people is tough for everyone. And collectively we werenāt very mentally healthy to begin with. Itās just not as apparent as our physical health issues.

There is a very simple explanation for this. Itās not a cause for other countries to be alarmed about the ability for this virus to be contained when proper measures are taken. It was all, as usual, a result of spellbinding stupidity.

I wonder what the true unemployment claims would look like if it were not for the extra cash.
I am a foreman and have been giving a lot of ātemporary lay offsā as have others. Our Union is allowing members to do this both journeyman and apprentices ( which are now making the same as the journeyman)
