Can someone find me a graph comparing āall causeā(deaths from anything-I have no idea what to call it-all people that died in X area during Y time) deaths to the same from this COVID-19 period? Thatās what Iām interested in, but Iāve been unable to find it so far.
I believe the gray line in his graph is āall deathsā.

It does look that way. I misread it(I didnāt notice the gray 2016-2017 line in with all the rest, so thought the ātotalā line was 2016-2017).
This is true. At best, guns are a stop-gap. Any 2nd Amendment fan(or supporter of freedom in general) should absolutely push for restrictions on much-more-capable weapons to be lifted, at least at the federal level.
Edit: I would argue that those same persons should also push to get rid of, or at least drastically reduce, our standing military.

I posted somewhere a while ago about how I marvelled that Trump in the US had disbanded in 2018 an infectious diseases advisory panel, I suppose to cut the budget. Or was it because Obama set it up in the first place?
I am now chagrined to post this article describing how Canada has almost done the same over the last several years. the SARS outbreak affected Canada, as well as wherever else, but after it left the front pages of the news, it seems to have been swept under the rug the relevance of having a pre prepared response plan to the next disease outbreak. Uggghhh:
