Give everyone a 21% raise.
Also, he makes no sense. Unemployment is not permanent and neither is the federal supplement. This isn’t UBI.

Andrew Cuomo.
Clear, distinct, honest and straightforward COVID-19 updates, recently with PowerPoint presentations.
Recognizes the press, and gives them clear, distinct answers.
Says “I don’t know” when he doesn’t know…and points out his mistakes when he makes them.
Most importantly, knows that the virus and its behavior will determine future actions; not setting arbitrary dates.
Then there is…
Biden?
Oh…uh yeah…Biden…
Terrible updates…we need to know what happened to Corn Pop!
LOL!
So, some insider baseball here. My mate is working in this group, she’s not one to talk out of her ass.
Britannia could win this particular race.
I understand there are 62 (!) potential vaccines in various stages of development throughout the world.
As much as I feel like it would give you an eternal leg up on this forum I’m fine saying I don’t mind if you guys win this race or anyone else.
We’ll always have faked the moon landing before you guys.
I googled the name:
But I still think we may have you. Honestly Oxford doesn’t sound like it has the ability for much hope. Maybe they do who knows. Not sure they have much of a history.
I’ll put my faith in Liberty University. A long record of producing geniuses. Led by a man who knew this whole thing was either a hoax or a North Korean attack right away.
Many smarmy posts ago, someone linked this, which also looked fairly good:
Oh she’s publicly accessible, but my mate works in her lab at Oxford. He’s quietly confident right now.
There are, but this Oxford prof wouldn’t say this if she wasn’t confident, trust me on that.
We’ll have to hope that such a meagre institution such as Oxford can rise above such humble beginnings like not being in the USA.
Odds may be stacked against them but I’m hoping for the best!
This dude’s dumb. I don’t get why people think no one’s going back to work. My dad’s a mason and often has to file unemployment in the winter due to being literally unable to work…they are always ready to stop it the second the weather clears. I’ve never known of anyone who filed and then just received it for however long they chose.
And for the many many many people struggling to get by, this temporary extra could allow them to possibly catch up on some things or prepare for the future. Obviously most will not use it to make smart financial preparations but like Z says:
@lucasmon - what’s your job? You mentioned union but what do you do? I’m sorry if you’ve mentioned it already.
Electrician.
I’m shocked to hear that…
I’ll see myself out.
Just talked a relative who works in the field and is tangentially involved - according to her Ze Germans will likely beat you Brits in the race for the vaccine.
She’s referring to one of the two vaccine projects Ursula of the EU mentioned today.
EU/UK bickering aside, I think that the mere fact that we’re discussing vaccines and potential rollout dates is phenomenal…
It’s incredible. I don’t particularly mind who gets there first, so long as it isn’t the French. Can’t be having the old enemy showing us up:
