My wife is hypothyroid. she is currently on a mix of T-4 and T-3, but it is measured in grains. Does anyone know how to convert grains to micrograms? Also, how much more potent is T-3 than T-4(i believe it is a 4 to 1 ratio)? thanks for your knowledge and time.
Don’t know about the potency of T-3 relative to T-4 but your conversion is: 1 grain = 60 milligrams.
Addendum - in case you need it: 1 milligram = 1000 micrograms (so 1 grain = 60000 micrograms).
