Congress Honors Brett Favre

It’s about time those lazy fat-cats in Washington listened to the American people and did something the populace has been demanding.

October 10th is already Brett Favre Day in Wisconsin, I think it’s time it became a national holiday.

I hate our Congress.

Nothing against Brett Favre, he’s been one of my favorites for a long time.

I’m amazed that you would be so foolish as to think that nitwit is important enough to occupy the time of the congregation of people with thousands of other interests far more important than Favre.

Brett Favre is the only thing Wisconsin has to be proud of. Oh, and cheese… but wait, California produces much more cheese. So I guess it’s just Favre.

Brett Favre is the greatest thing to ever happen to football, nay, our country. It is proven fact that the majority of Americans spend on average 1.25 minutes a day thinking about how awesome Brett Favre is.

It’s quality, not quantity, that matters. Who wants California’s smog infested crap cheese?

Sounds like someone’s jealous that Alex Smith isn’t getting the adoration of Congress and millions around the world heaped on him.

Even if Brett Favre was all we had to be proud of, I’d still be thankful not to be from California.

Wisconsin has Fonzie.

Ughh. How much more can the media kiss Brett Favre’s ass? I mean really? John Madden slurs and slobbers during a Brett Favre game like he honstly wants to have sex with him. NBC just fucking loves the guy, and it’s sickening. Every time there is a Green bay game on NBC, it’s a 4 hour “Favre Fellatio Fest” I’m glad my Bears made the Packers lose last week and also made him the #1 all time record holder for…you guessed it…Interceptions!! I’m so tired of seeing every time Favre throws a touchdown, they show Deanna Favre, his wife. Yeah she beat Breast Cancer, but guess what? So have millions of other women, and where’s their spotlight?

Fuck the Packers and Fuck Brett Favre! He’s made a career out of destroying Chicago, and I don’t care how much of a nice guy he is. We Bears fans are ruthless and vengeful.

Dr. Z, of Sports Illustrated:

“I want to be fair about this. I’ve been repeatedly accused of being anti-Favre, and I think the reason for my grumpiness is the announcers and fans have fallen so much in love with him during his career that they’ve been blind to his failings, such as the careless interceptions. How many times have I heard, “Well, at least he’s having fun out there,” as the offense trudges off the field, following still another pick?”

There are some media out there that are not in love with ol’ Brett.

“In Favre we trust” I can’t help but like the guy and the Packers for that matter and I’m a Pats fan.
