Definately a T-driven bunch. I’m a Melbournian and don’t get see much Rugby League, but I must say that Paramatta looked considerably more athletic and faster than the Knights. However, the Knights battered the Eels to a pulp. They were machines. On a similar note, congratulations to the Brisbane Lions for pulling off a wonderful win in the AFL Grand Final. Coach Davies would have been impressed by their Renegade physiques and attitude, I’m sure.
The party is still going? It only just started. I just got back to Queensland after going down for the game. I spent Monday in Newie and its an absoulte blinder. If '97s anything to go by, they’ll still be going when the new season starts.
Big Bruva you know the Hawks were ripped off the week before against Essendon and you know we would have handed the Lions their butts… Oh well maybe next year.
Speaking of the Hawks, their strength coach is absolutely brilliant,i wish we could have some articles by him.
Lions v Hawks would have been something special, I tend to agree. The Hawks buried themselves against Essendon by missing so many easy shots, and of course the umpiring wasn’t especially helpful, but you’ve got to live with that and get on with it. The conditioning coach the Hawks have has done an amazing job - it would have been an absolute bloodbath between the Lions and Hawthorn - neither team ever stops running. Some articles by him would be great. I’ll go find his full name out of interest. Similarly, I think Richmond’s strength and conditioning department did the best job this season. Their players were in the best shapes they’ve ever been in, and their soft tissue injuries were the lowest in the league.
