Comment on My Stack

I’m sure there’s a couple of these but the search function sucks so don’t flame if there is.

This is the stack I’m trying to work out, I’m 17 and have been lifting for about a year and a half. In this time i’ve gained probably 40-50 lbs and My bench/deadlift/squat have gone up tremendously.

This is what i’m thinking:
Carbolin 19( morning then sometime midday)
Superfood( before meals)
Surge Workout Fuel( before and during)
Alpha GPC( before workout)
Metabolic Drive ( What’s the best flavour?)] ( anytime during the day )
Creatine( before and after workout) ( But for first week I’d probably have 20g a day just to creatine load)
Zma OR Z12( before bed, obviously.)
Surge Recovery ( Right after my workout)

I was just wondering if this would be an alright stack, I know supplements aren’t going to do it alone, but they sure as hell help : )

Any info/reviews would be great!

add bcaa and fish oil(Flameout) and you re all set…

Damn you must be rich.

haha, I’m just a teen with a disposable income and passionate about lifting :stuck_out_tongue:

Waste of $$$ for a teenager who has only been lifting for a few years.

Could you be more specific? Which ones. I know the Carbolin 19 and Aplha and probably Superfood are not necessities.

Some questions would be what are you goals (regards to creatine), how is your food intake (regards to Superfood)? Are you not sleeping well (regards to Z12)? As a teenager I wouldn’t bother with things like ZMA or Carbolin 19. I’d go with some Surge Recovery, Metabolic Drive, and fish oil. Add in some Superfood if your nutrition isn’t great and maybe some creatine. Your hormones are already peaking.

Yeah, this is probably overkill. I may just give the Metabolic Drive, I always have been taking fishoils they’re just a given, probably some Superfood. Surge Recovery and creatine and maybe ALPHA GPC.

Is Surge Workout Fuel any good? And would ReceptorMax be out of the question for me?

I disagree. I started ZMA when I was 16 and it helped me sleep a lot better. If anything, a teenager is likely to be more zinc/magnesium deficient than an older person who can buy their own healthy food to keep it up. I agree that Carbolin 19 isn’t necessary.

Coming from someone who used all that at exactly your age, I’d say that the ones that are worthwhile are fish oil, protein, both Surges, and, if they work for you, creatine and ZMA. I personally never got anything from creatine, but like I said ZMA helped with sleep.

Basically, things that are concentrated nutrition (fish oil, protein, Surges) are shoe-ins, but the extra stuff should be a case by case basis. Also, since L-Leucine/BCAAs are really cheap when you buy bulk powder, you could look into that. I saw some really good gains doing Surge Workout Fuel pre-workout, around 50 grams of BCAAs during workout, and 2-3 scoops Surge Recovery post workout. I, like you, was a passionate 17 year old with disposable income.

Good luck.

I’m 17 and can you tell me how you can afford this stuff? Do you have a job? lol

Keep the Surge Recovery, but take it pre-workout instead. It really does work better. Keep the protein and creatine too. You may also want to add in some casein hydrolysate too. Lose everything else. If you have extra money to blow, find a girl and take her out and enjoy being a teenager. If you still have money left over, buy more of the above.

Yeah i do.

If I’m going to order from here the shipping’s like 70 bucks so I’m going to make sure i order alot, I just want to make sure that I’m ordering things that will be useful to me.

As far as a stack goes it looks like a joke imo. You shouldn’t need Alpha Male, the rest is a nutritional necessity for me.

its Alpha-GPC, two different supplements.

Why not just do:

Protein Powder
Creatine Mono
Fish Oil
Multi Vitamin

a lot simpler, a lot cheaper, and you can find it all at a local supplement store.

I may just do this, This is what I already have, some weightgainer, BCAA’s, Multi vits, Fish oils, Creatine, and a Pre workout. I just wanted to test out some Biotest to see what the hypes about.

Stick with this. You should be spending all that disposable income on your diet, not extra supps. If you really have that much money to play around with, spend it on steaks.

I can’t tell you how many friends of mine buy every supp under the sun and still eat like shit, then wonder why they can’t get bigger.

I understand that you should have a solid routine / diet before you buy supps. My parents understand my diet needs and they buy the food : ) Every other day i have a chicken breast or steak with my eggs for breakfeast. So, I have a pretty solid Diet. I just wanted to spice up my supps a little bit. Chances are I’m just going to stick with the basics from a local supplement store, Alpha-GPC might not even work as it is advertised too anyways.

X2

Those are the only supps I take, I don’t always take a multi but I prob should. I’d suggest dishing out a bit extra for these four and get a very high quality.
