Coming Off TRT - Lexapro with Nolva?

Hey Guys,

long story short, have to discontinue TRT because of hematocrit and hemoglobin attributing to very high blood pressure. Additionally, i was put on TRT with mildly low Total and free T; TRT was not warrarented.

I was dealing with anxiety and turns out that was the cause of me feeling so poorly; not low T.

My goal is to cut the testosterone feburary 1st, increase the HCG to EOD day and start Nolva after 3-4 weeks of the cyp clearence. Ive reduced my T dose down to 100mg a week, started taking HCG 250mg every tuesday and sat to address my LH.

the FSH part is where it gets tricky. Im fearful of clomid because im susceptible to anxiety. Ive read that Nolva with Lexapro can have a drug inteferrence :frowning:

Does anyone have any experience with Nolva and Lexapro? of the SSRIs available, lexapra has the least interaction with Nolva.

Don’t over think it.

-Take 500IU HCG twice per week while on TRT
-Stop Testosterone February 1st as you say and increase HCG to 500IU every other day for 3-4 weeks

  • Start Nolvadex 20mg every day for 6 weeks

Personally I’d start Nolvadex along side the final week of HCG to allow it to build up before you pull the plug on injections.

No need to worry about stopping testosterone, if your balls worked averagely well before, you will feel fine on HCG only.

You might feel shit for a week when you stop HCG but probably nothing terrible.
