I’d like to see Preacher as a miniseries on HBO.
I have been waiting over 15 years for a Madman movie. Then Robert Rodriguez got the rights in 1998 and it’s always his “next” picture. I hope he get’s to it after Sin City 2.

So many…here are a few ideas:
Lobo
A new Spawn
GI Joe
X-Men-Inferno Saga (I’d giddily squeal in delightlike a schoolgirl if they did this one)

Next weekend, a couple buddies and I will be making a Sabertooth/Wolverine short. It takes place Logan’s (referred to by his early name, James’) farm 20 years or so after the X-Men. Sabertooth is sent to bring him back into the game. It will consist mostly of fight choreography done by my friend and I that’s going to take place in his barn.
Unfortunately, the camera we have is a dinky little one. We wanted to get a slightly better one but it costs 150 bucks a day to rent, so we’re gonna have to pass. Hopefully I’ll get it up here when it’s finished.

Here’s a scheme (legal, though) for getting a better camera:
Go buy one. A good one like the Canon CLR or one of the three-chip Sony dealies.
Then, when you’re done using it…return the sucker. Check around to find a store without a retocking fee and make sure you keep everything from the box. (And don’t fuck up the camera, obviously.)

Right, but not a bounty hunter (this, to me, was the giveaway). Although, one comic geek to another, I sincerely salute your reference skills.
I always thought Deathlok was a damn cool character, but for some reason he never made the A-list in the Marvel lineup. Any thoughts on why?

Niiice. Although the story telling involved in working in N’Ahstir and the rest of the demons would probably assure that the viewing audience would be limited to you, me, and a handful of other posters on this thread.
A Green Lantern movie could be very interesting.
They could pick from several past Green Lanterns or they could create a new Green Lantern in keeping with the DC Universe.
It would be a CGI wetdream.
I have a feeling Wonderwoman is on the horizon.

I was actually discussing this with the owner of th comic shop I work at part-time; we came to the conclusion that Deathlock was mostly cool because he was cool looking, not cuz of the great story behind him.
His Marvel Legend action figure was great, even though I only bought him to put together my Galactus.

Green Lantern would (well, could) make an incredible movie. Unfortunately, the rumor floating around which simply refuses to die is that Warner Bro’s are interested in Jack Black to play Hal Jordan.
Now, I like Jack Black, but this is the WORST FUCKING IDEA EVER!
Wonder Woman, however, is charging steadily towards your local multiplex with Joss Wheedon writing and directing. They’re looking for a WW.
It can only be Jessica Biel.

Jessica Alba would be a good choice as well, but Biel is more believable as an ass-kicking amazon princess.

Forget that!
I’d drag everyone I saw on the street to see it…in a headlock if I could…or in a groin-clasp if I had to.
Soon…everyone would be doing it because it would be “in” to do it!
Another one:
SHE-HULK
Think about it: Get some hardbodied babe (very feminine), paint her green and show her lifting heavy stuff…maybe even a “workout”.
Maybe it’ll help teach females that it’s sexy to lift heavy weights.
It could revolutionize the world!

There are rumors that Jill Wagner (the female lead in the Blade TV Series) may be cast as Wonder Woman. Physically, she seems a near perfect choice to me.
I know they’re not comic bookds, but I LOVE to see movies based on the DragonLance series of books. They could do a bunch of movies ala LOTR or Narnia.
As far as comics/cartoons made into movies… I’d LOVE to see:
The Thundercats
Tranzor Z
Voltron (w/ Lions)
a better HE MAN
Captain America
M.A.S.K.
Batman: The Dark Knight Returns
Watchmen
These are my two favorites. Both would be hard to pull off since there is so much content.
i reckon Moon Knight and The Black Panther would be goers.Maybe get the guy from spawn for the black panther …

That woman is very, very Sexy!
I’ve been watching the TV show, she does a good job.
The Blade series is good so far, it is well done and some interesting sub-plots.
I hope it goes strong.
How the hell would the watchmen get made into a movie? You’d have to completely bastardise it to even turn into a workable movie. It would be so different from the original, it would be questionable why you’d even used the idea of the watchmen, except to attract fanboys.

I agree, there is too much content to adapt to a movie easily, but I’d still like to see it happen. Maybe a mini-series.
I cant believe anyone has’nt said “Deadpool”
who would’nt want to watch a film about a psychotic super fast healin nutbag.

Deadpool: Holy Spider-Man ripoffs! Is THIS the suit I’ve been wearing?
he constantly breaks the fourth wall and his internal dialogues are hilarious

I remember hearing that ‘they’ (whoever has the rights) considered making an HBO miniseries but it didn’t work out. That said, I think a movie could work, one might have to eliminate some characters but in the right writer’s hands, who knows?
As for WW casting, I’ve heard that some the names mentioned above are being considered but also Jewel Staite (from Firefly) and Charisma Carpenter (Buffy and Angel), both of whom have a previous relationship with Joss Whedon.
