Alright Max, who you taking against Texas in the BCS championship, Bama or Gators?

I really don’t know at this point, I mean all top 5 teams struggled, and I mean the real top 5, not the BCS top 5.

This Saturday, Bama is at Tennessee, that will be a much more telling game for Bama. Tennessee is good enough to win, but will they, I have no idea. I do have more respect for Texas because they played against Oklahoma, and not Arkansas or South Carolina. The Texas-Oklahoma game was a very close game, no one really beat up the other. It was all around very evenly matched.

If Bama can finish out strong, I think they will be in the title game against Texas, and I see Texas winning that match up. Texas has shown that it can find a way to win against a very good Oklahoma team, which is much better than it has been given credit for. That is a key component for a championship team, finding a way to win when nothing is working.

I am still bitter over the BCS rankings, how to fuck do you rank Boise State and Cincy in the top 6?[/quote]

The theory I heard last night was that if the top 10 win out, Boise and Cincy will drop due to a lack of strength of schedule.

I agree, I think they are reaching. I predict weekly changes below the top three.

Here’s to hopefully Florida losing a game, they should have lost that game this past weekend, and Bama did not look impressive against a shitty South Carolina team (don’t even try to tell me their decent, their Mr. Arrested 3 times QB threw one of the dumbest picks at the beginning of that game I’ve ever seen). Texas, I don’t know what to do with them at this point because Oklahoma obviously is not as good as we all thought going into the year (-16 rushing yards, are you serious?).

Only reason the top 3 are the top 3 are because they’ve survived so far (except maybe Bama but that might be pushing it at times). I’m surprised Boise is at #4 after the way they played Tulsa last week, but Cincy at #5 is a surprise. I might be the only one glad to see the real USC at #7 (those road wins against OSU and ND don’t look good right now especially after seeing Purdue beat OSU and ND’s defense can’t stop anyone right now). Iowa, um they keep winning the NFL way and are up there, but are they the team who beat Penn State or the team that had to squeeze out wins against Northern Iowa and Arkansas State?

Honestly, There isn’t one dominant team right now in the country, everyone has the potential to get beat every week, which is why the BCS is a bullshit system.

UTEP beat Tulsa tonight in the Sun Bowl, game went down to the wire, UTEP went ahead with under a minute to go.

If OU wasn’t bad enough on offense, now they are playing Kansas without DeMarco Murray.

I have never seen a football program have so many injuries to their top players.

BYU vs TCU, who are you taking? I know it’s awkward to see them both in the top 25, but it should be a great game.

I think if there is an upset to be made, it might be with Tennessee over Bama. Lane Kiffin has found a way to win with his team, and he is at home, so hopefully that is enough to come out on top. This guy is a mind freak, he plays chess with teams, not poker. He will use the struggles of Bama against South Carolina and devise a gameplan to make it happen. Today, I am a Volunteers fan.

Well,if it’s one area where I saw the biggest struggle was Bama’s passing game…they have only one real go-to WR and their QB is either hot or cold. Tennesse has a decent secondary and Eric Berry is a beast of a DB.

But if they can’t stop the run, mainly Ingram, they are screwed. And of course Bama’s special teams and defense can win the game for them.

I’m all over TCU in this one. Last year their D terrorized max hall and the BYU offense.

I like TCU, but the game is in Provo.

As of now, I think TCU is worthy of this ranking. They are one of the few non-BCS schools that will play a strong non-conference schedule.

Yea TCU has looked good, but playing a bunch of married 28 year olds who aren’t allowed to ingest any alcohol always scares me a little. I played them in lacrosse and they produce some serious athletes. Should be a great game, and a great way for those programs to make the eventual push in elite ones.

Which I think they should be ranked higher than Boise State and Cincinnati.

This has to be one of the weirdest seasons on college football history.

Not one team in has set themselves apart from the others. Usually, there are at least two teams that are in their own class. Even with all the upsets in 2007, it was still clear that LSU, and maybe USC, was one of the top two or three teams in the country.

This year it looked as though Florida and Bama were the top of the class, but both have struggled against teams that they should have beat convincingly.

Considering either Florida or Bama will be eliminated from contention due to the SEC Championship and USC still has to play Oregon, is this the year we see a TCU or Cincinnati sneak into the BCS Title game?

Y’all should’ve lost and you know it.

Just glad my Clemson Tigers finally got a win over a top 10 team this year on the road! Spike, y’all are looking awesome right now.

I just got back from the Utah game. I don’t know what it is about Air Force, but it seems like the Utah offense never shows up when they play the Falcons. The defense gave up a lot of yards on the ground, but was good enough to not let Air Force score very many points and force overtime.

Air Force usually fields a decent team, but I think the Utes are a better team than they showed today. But, then again, I Utah has not had many superb games this season.

Ok Texas Missouri game is going to prove to be beyond boring unless something changes real fast
