The thing about Clemson is not that they aren’t good; it’s that they had the potential to be so much better. Bowden is gone for sure.
Good Thing I didn’t have internet past couple days, otherwise I’d have popped a blood vessel
Thats what pisses me off the most about my teams season, they have the ability to be so much better and as true with any game where Clemson has to make a stand we can’t because our coaching staff is a complete pile of shit on the offensive side while Bowden looks like he’s takin a shit about to cry on the sidelines. And now he’s benched Harper to put Willy Korn in against Ga Tech?! I like Korn but man he’s gonna get eaten alive for his first start against the defensive line! The way we benched Harper is what really pisses me off (though I did call for him being benched thursday night, so many high and wrong spot passes, 15/34 aint all o-line problems) Harper had to find out ONLINE because they didn’t TELL HIM before that. Very shitty if you ask me. Thursday night was an embarrassment. We have the fan support (58,134 season ticket holders out of about 82,000 seats), plenty of scholarship money, the facilites, and even the players, but the coaching just aint there. Bowden and his little bitch Rob Spence(how many screens you gonna call in one game when NONE of them work?) better be gone after this year, no excuse
meanwhile, Texas and OU is a pretty good game so far, Surprised OU hasn’t put more points on the board yet though, especially after the first drive, but Texas has done a damn good job so far

I’ve been callin for Bowden’s head for a few years now(even last year) so as much as it pains me to lose like we are it better mean Bowden is gone, but if we beat South Carolina (our top rival by far, you DON’T lose to South Carolina, no matter how bad) their will still be a very small amount of people wanting him to stay here(and they would need to be shot by far) but that is how Bowden has kept his job here in the past (7-2 against South Carolina while here)
Some horrible officiating out there in the Texas OU game but I am impressed with Texas, considering they have NO running game today, though they have given up 5 tds to Bradford so far but somehow they are winning now by 10 (I am sure you SEC diehards are wondering Where in the hell is the defense, I am myself) but its been an exciting game and I’m not even a fan of other team.

And Michigan lost to Toledo! Thats funny as hell
But it was equally horrible for both sides. Who knew a punter getting a cramp in his calf would get OU a first down?
I’m glad TU beat UT-Norman. Tech matches up better against TU than they do UT Norman. I doubt Tech can win in Norman, but will likely beat TU in Lubbock.
If the Red Raiders could learn to play a little fucking defense, this could be the year Tech actually gets to play for a championship.

I agree, if Tech could play even a little defense they’d be in any game against any top 10 team. btw, the OU punter should get an academy award for his performance on that roughing the kicker penalty, I like how he waited for a few seconds while watching the play then grabbed his leg.
The officiating in the OU-texass game was a joke, both for OU and against. Defense sucked, we didn’t play the entire game. Losing Reynolds hurt us more than I would’ve expected. Go Rump Raiders, beat texass, and we will beat you!!!
Sitting here watching this PSU/Wisconsin game, and I take back everything I said about OSU. WIsconsin really is just that bad; Penn State is doing to them what OSU should have done if they wanted to get back into any serious discussion. Also the Buckeyes looked AWFUL against Purdue today, 16-3 doesn’t look like a terrible game on paper but they should have run all over that team. Sad =/. If something doesn’t change soon the Lions are going to stomp our shit come the 25th.
Edit: LSU just made a huge statement in their opening drive of the 2nd half in that game. Looked like the game was just going to get out of hand then they had that late drive and now this. 2nd half should be really good.
I didn’t get to watch the game because I had to work at an expo in Ft. Worth. I got late text updates from my brother and my wife and was ecstatic about the news.

Right, and luckily it didn’t decide the game.
I think it is an embarrassment for the Big 12 that the conference’s biggest game of the year (aside for the conference title game) was so poorly officiated.
Playing Tech in Lubbock is the game horn fans should be fearful of. I think Texas will handle Missouri in Austin. For some reason, both OU and Texas both play horribly in Lubbock.

I was actually more surprised at this outcome than of Texas beating my Sooners.
The Aggie Factor didn’t kick in! Oklahoma State has a rich history of blowing it in big games. It makes the Bedlam Game more important, which I’m sure OU will screw up and lose, since the game is in Stillwater.
This was the only consolation I could find with OU losing yesterday. I hate LSU about as much as I do USC!
I honestly was not surprised by this. I had a bad feeling about this game. OU’s defense is once again overrated and soft. It cost them big in yet another important game!

If USC gets back in the BCS picture, I’m going to kill myself.
Oh, don’t worry, it will happen. USC plays absolutely no one for the rest of the season, plus they have the media on their side. They are Notre Dame of the West.

Truer words were never spoken.
Wait’ll next weekend, and the one after that, and the . . . it’s still WELL up in the air to determine who USC is gonna play!
'Bama has to play a lot of solid SEC teams still plus the championship, so I doubt it will be them.
Texas still has that rough schedule to run through as well, it’ll be hard not to notch up a loss in there.
Penn State basically has OSU and nobody else left, and the Buckeye offense looks to be good for about 3 points a game right about now so they might get the nod.
Maybe BYU will just destroy the rest of the schedule and “impress” voters to leapfrog some of these classic programs, that’d be kinda fun =p
Also I think Florida is going to be bumped ahead of USC for now, and I doubt OU will fall under them either, so we’re still safe from the Trojans for now!

Bama has a weaker remaining schedule than both Florida and Georgia. Their on real “test” is LSU, who the Gators just exposed. Winner of the Forida Georgia game will play Bama in the SEC championship. Winner goes to BCS championship game.
Dissapointing loss for Mizzou yesterday. Was lookin forward to next weeks Big 12 showdown with the longhorns with both teams undefeated and leading Heisman candidate QBs shooting it out. Looks like Colt is leading Chase in the Heisman with yesterdays big showing against the Sooners (AKA UT Norman), or will Tebow double up.
With the reamining matchups the Big 12 champion is uncertain. Any one of the 6 ranked teams are in a position to win out and control there own destiny. The survivor of the Big 12 championship game will play the SEC champion in hte BCS Championship game.
Wild card is Penn State. If they can beat Ohio State they have an outside shot, but in my opionion the Big 10 isn’t in the same league as the SEC and Big 12

The Big 12 South has to be THE toughest conference in football right now.
#1 UT Norman #5 TU #7 Red Raiders #17 OSU
That’s 2/3 of the sub conference ranked in the top 20. Granted, Norman is going to move down, but TU, Tech and OSU should all move up.
The North isn’t nearly as stacked, but you do have Mizzou and Kansas ranked in the top 20.
And the fucking Trojans get the Stanfords, the Cals, and the Arizonas to walk over.
Put the Trojans in the Big 12 south, and they are also-rans.

I was at the Tech game yesterday and it looked like they did everything in their power to try and lose that game. I think everyone expected them to trounce Nebraska. Talk about backing into a likely 4 or 5.

Our neighbors were at the game as well. They said the same thing.
It was my fault. Every time I schedule my day to watch Tech play on TV, they play like they are a JV team. I watched the Nevada game on the internet, and the same thing happened.
I should not be allowed to turn on a Tech game unless they are ahead by 40 points.
