Pretty sure a Death Penalty is in order. Jesus Christ,an abortion.

It just depends on the poll. SI has Alabama #1[/quote]
Those are not equated into the BCS rank though. While I could respect that more just due to the past 5 years.
Token some how the U will get out of it.

I just caught up on all of this as well.
Good lord this is a huge deal right here.
And this Shapiro worm is a true-blue fuckin’ FUCKSTICK. This petty little man who didn’t get what he wanted from the Athletes he “sponsored” for all this illegal activity is now selling the whole program down the river so he can fucking sleep at night?
Holy shit man. Good thing he’s already in prison for this fucking ponzi scheme or else he’d probably already be dead. What a fucking COWARD. How stupid does the U have to be to allow this schiester into their inner circle?
What a shame dude, what a complete fucking shame. OSU goes down for players trading tats in the ghetto merch, and the U goes down because a swarthy “businessman” decides that since he’s now busted and testimony had to come out about where his ponzi money went, he’s selling his whole lineage down the river.
Shapiro claims in a recent interview that he “sleeps so good at night now…”
Caught motherfuckers growing a concious. What the fuck man. What the fuck. He’s slime. And the U is STUPID and now, more than likely, they’re FUCKED.
Damn.
Re: Miami…holy shit. If they don’t get the death penalty, no team will ever get it again and they might as well take it out of the book.
My brother is gonna love this.
SSC is NOT going to like this. At least he has his Packers.

SSC needs to dial it back, be a fan of the Western Michigan Broncos or some local High School team for awhile.

LOL yea we may need to put out a suicide watch on him.
Edit: Shit I just remembered SSC loves Florida not Miami. My bad. Back to regular scheduled program.

No way,DJ. OSU,USC,and Auburn all look like childs play compared to this. This might be even bigger than SMU with the amount of money involved. (Probably not as large as the scope as even the state government got involved with SMU) From 2002 to 2010,this guy funded 72 players (and possibly even more) with cars, gifts, trips to strip clubs, and prostitution. There was even reports that not only staffs knew about it but even one of the head went with them to a strip club too. This is Uncle Luke x 10. You can say that there is a reason of doubt that this guy might be bullshitting but when he can provided thousands of bank statements and photos then its very damning. At the VERY least,The U will be forfeiting wins from the past decades, cut scholarships and fuck over the recruiting class. Nobody will be willing to commit after everything is said and done. The U will be in the shitter for a loooong time.

Wow,you seem upset. Dude,I know. Its the most petty, scummy thing to do. This guy just wanted to be seen with the players and kept throwing money at them. He probably thought that by throwing money at these young guys and not really forming a good relationship that they’ll be BFF forever. How can he say that hes surprised that nobody is bailing him out? Hes being transferred to Miami and hes going to be in a world of shit.
^ I just heard a brief thing this morning and have not paid attention. Starting to hear more. Yikes.
NO more LB’s out of the U. Ray is probably pissed he missed out. ![]()
Btw,I’d like to add that Thank God Andre Johnson was not in any way involved with this whole mess.

Why? Man sorry I know technically they are adults but a college kid who may have come from NOTHING has someone throwing money at them and taking them for nights on the town is hardly at fault in my eyes.
This seems to fit with the reputation Miami has had for a while, may it is part of what fostered the rep in the first place. I want to see what the NCAA is going to do about Ohio State, which may be not much since the Miami stuff makes it look small time.

Yeah man I’m pretty annoyed by all of this, I know I probably sound like a little kid, but I’m really bothered by this.
Grown men don’t snitch. This guy got caught and he folded like a wet blanket to an internet news website. For what? To cover his lawyer fees? To help pay back the 85 MILLION DOLLARS he swindled?
What was the U athletic department doing INSTEAD of keeping this motherfucker in check? Millions of dollars for parties and whores and diamonds, but from what I can tell he only kicked the U 50k and that was to the basketball team? The U’s administration should have damn well known better.
I hope that these Division 1 schools are waking the hell up and doing strong audits on their boosters, coat tail riders and hangers-on to ensure their programs are on the up and up. Two Major programs are all screwed up right now (USC/OSU) and the U will probably be the third IN AS MANY YEARS, and not for any damn thing they did between the end-zones. Hell I was watching a replay of OSU vs. Wisconsin last night on ESPNU and I kept thinking damn, what a shame, these two teams competed their balls off, and now Tressel, Pryor, Herron, are all gone… all the while Musburger and Herbstreit were praising them for being amazing. It’s all fucked up man.
And? I’m a Michigan fan!
When schools like the U go down, schools like Boise and Utah and TCU get successful. Schools like Wyoming, fuckin’ Wyoming get the Nike deals. It’s all backwards and foreign.
On Sept. 17th OSU and the U play each other, there’s a real strong chance that Ohio State will be going into that game with one loss already. It’s sad and sloppy and it bums me out.
I’d like to point my finger at one program right now that I can call Upright and Elite, but I can’t. It wasn’t always like that, or maybe it was (clearly) and the facade is breaking down school by school. It sucks. I love college football, it’s the best 12 weeks of the year, it sucks that that love is now conditional.

OSU is already fucked. No more sweatervest and Nebraska in the Big Ten?
Maybe in 5-10 years they’ll dot the “i” with pride again in the Horse Shoe.
this miami thing is nuts! The dude says he has thousands of PICTURES of these violation events and things. He had university recruiting personnel, position coaches and HEAD COACHES on his benefit list/payroll! That is nuts!
They might as well just cancel the entire athletic program at Miami because without the football team bringing in revenue they are screwed.
I still hope the NCAA destroys OSU but I doubt that’ll happen considering what they have (or have not) tagged them with. The way they handled the whole Cam Newton this just shows that they whole organization is bullshit.
I really hope that the 4, 16 team “super conferences” thing happens soon and they disband the NCAA and start a playoff. That would be awesome

What about Texas or Oklahoma? Texas gets watched so closely now if Bevo farts in the wrong direction it reported.
I was at A&M when they were banned from TV for a season and that was my favorite year there. Why? Because if you wanted to know anything about the game you pretty much had to be there. They crush for tickets, the electricity on campus days before the game, etc. was the best that year. My point, getting banned from TV will hurt the schools pocketbooks but it can be great for the local fans.

I’d like to see Bevo and Ralphie in a cage match.
You have a strong piont about UT and Boomer, can’t really shoot too many holes through their programs

I figure Bobby’s always been pretty straight and narrow, but God I’m just waiting for something to pop up. It seems that everyone has done something stupid.
Perhaps we learned our lesson back in the day…
