YES. WISCONSIN. YES. As student at UW(game last night was nuts!) Im not entirely convince that the defense is rock solid, since Nebraska really had a high school offense(and a quarterback who throw very awkwardly), but I do know that in order to beat Wisconsin you must score over 40 points to have a chance. Wisconsin’s offense creates very easy throws for the QB, hence why scott tolzien was very successful last year and with Russ Wilson at the helm now, its a cake walk. I believe the true test will be Michigan,(MSU and OSU not looking too strong IMO), and michigan with Denard Robinson (who i think can throw better than Taylor Martinez with just as much speed).

Congrats on Wiscy’s win. That’s a damn good team.

And of course Denard Robinson will throw better than Taylor Martinez. Anyone can.

Yes, Wis has a very good team.

All I can say is “Ouch” for the Huskers.

Hopefully we can learn and improve.

UT is 4-0

Now we get to take on PMPM this week.

I will not bet any avi’s so dont ask.

I also get to go to LSU vs Florida game.

Will Florida bounce back?

No.

Just no, especially if Brantley is out indefinitely, which I think he is.

sigh

Nossir,

Brantley is at least dinged. Bama undressed them and spanked that heiny.

I cannot believe I will be the UT vs. OU game. Wish it wasn’t on at 11am.

And if Kirk and Brent are doing the Husker game against this Saturday, I will be watching with the volume off because I cannot listen to those two douches anymore.

Edit: Meant to say I will MISS the UT vs. OU game.

You will be the UT vs OU game? Does your wife know?

I like Kirk for some reason Brent gives me that creeping old child molester feeling.

Damn it, I mean I cannot believe i will MISS the UT vs OU game.

What I don’t get is why can’t Florida run the ball?

Even when Brantley was in the running game was terrible. Now I know both Demps and Rainey are kind of fragile but they are fast as hell.

A team with Florida’s talent should never have it’s running game completely shut down no matter who is playing them. No team should get 15 total rushing yards on 29 attempts.

They missed the mark during the Michigan-Notre Dame game.

Brad Nessler would’ve freaked out, same with Mike Patrick. Those two are at the top of the heap in my eyes.

 I will also, I will be tailgating with my boss at the LSU vs Florida game.

OU take this one anyway, we just do not have enough on the Offense to keep up.

Honestly Brad I kind of tune the announcers out now, I am so centered on watching the line play and the triangles etc that I miss half of what they say.

I have issues.

Exactly this my man. Alabama does have a pretty stellar defense, but they’re not as fast or athletic as LSU’s, which is another reason that leads me to believe that the Tigers will walk away with at least a 14-point win in this game.

I understand what you mean, and for the most part I’m in the same boat. And whether it’s sexist or whatever, as soon as I hear the sideline girl begin to talk I tune everything out unless it’s regarding an injury.

The before and after halftime interviews, and even some of the post game on the field interviews are a real waste of time.

Hahahahahahahaha I was flipping through the games on Saturday and I cant remember which game but heard a female announcer and just keep on going ended up watching commercials instead. I hate commercials with a passion. This game was not even a sideline announcer this one was in the booth as main announcer with some guy.

I didn’t realize Brantley had 190 yards before he got hurt. Not that it would have mattered, with all the points they were putting up, but good on him. I DO remember the first touchdown, that sure was fun haha. I drank a lot more than I’m used to so I really don’t remember much else about the game. It seemed like every time I looked up, we were down by another touchdown.

Anything is possible, but no, I do not think we will win Saturday. I didn’t think we’d beat Alabama either, but the idea that it can’t POSSIBLY be a competitive game is just silly. It was silly before last weekend too. On any given Saturday, anything can happen in the SEC, unless you are playing a team like Vanderbilt or Kentucky. But again, after getting blown out at home, I don’t see the true freshman backup starting his first game at one of the hardest places in the country to play pulling out the big upset.

I’m not sure I’m ready to annoint LSU’s defense as better than Bama’s nor am I willing to say the reverse. Right now I think both of those teams look really freaking similar.

Stong D, run first O and weakest at QB.

Should make for a hell of a game, last three games have had an average margin of victory of six points and I’m betting than whoever wins that will hold true this time.

I just do not understand why they didn’t run the ball. Beck our O.C. didn’t really do a good job or calling the plays.
[/quote]

Yea idk much about nebraska football but it seemed like their offense isnt too effective. Taylor martinez can run like the wind but as long as wiscy took good angles he wasnt going very far.

Lol @ drunk. So jelly. It can definitely be competitive. Florida’s front 7 had better learn how to hold their gaps FAST though. I know Bama has a bruising O-Line but they played overly aggressive and undisciplined… like a young defense. :frowning: Beating LSU would definitely be a big statement, though. Florida is by no means out of the SEC race, considering someone is going to come out a loser between LSU/Bama and there is a conference championship to be played. You’re right, though, it’s a damn shame we have to go into Death Valley, lol.

Definitely, it’s going to be an insane game. I do like Bama in the match-up. I think Trent Richardson may very well be the next AP (big claim, I know,) but he’s a monster and Marquese Maze (sp?) is starting to become a very dynamic player - a la Percy Harvin/Randall Cobb.

I think the LSU may unquestionably have the most talented front 4 in the nation, but I like speedy, smart and disciplined linebackers at Bama a little bit more.

Plus, Les Miles will not luck his way into winning against Nick Saban. Not gonna happen.

I really liked what Nebraska theoretically had going but I think they’re going to learn hard and fast that the spread doesn’t work in the Big-10. I hate to give props to the B1G but if you can’t pound the rock after, oh, mid-October you’re not going to end up winning, haha. Nebraska has had the fortune of playing in some warmer-weather states, and also played in a conference known for fairly poor pass defense. It’s going to be interesting to see if the team philosophy changes while Polini is in tenure.
