What was up with the guy on Utah State getting ejected for that hit? I can see it being a penalty, but that does not warrant getting ejected. [/quote]
Apo had a well-publicized concussion, and so probably it was that, added to the fact that it’s a rivalry game, so the idea that he had intent to take Apo out of the game probably played a role in it.
Well crap! So who do you start lighting a fire under when your defense goes home at half to games I’m a row? Not just that but the office is not producing in the second half either. I guess it comes down to the head coach (A&M secondary is weak as well) but man, two games in a row. They need to put something in the water.
So I had mild expectations coming into this year because of the suspensions and players leaving to the NFL, but my god is our(OSU) offense fucking terrible this season. Obviously you can’t count a performance against Colorado, we’re terrible at moving the ball and our defense just can’t stop people forever, not possible. I may be overreacting but I dunno that we’ll finish better than 7 wins the way it looks right now, and the streak vs Michigan is surely in jeopardy.
So my Wolverines put a beatdown on the gophers today 58 to 0. Not that I think Michigan is going to be competitive for the big ten title but I must say after a few years of mediocrity its nice to have a few respectable wins this season.
So who does everyone think is going to take it this year. I think it’ll come down to whomever wins between Bama and LSU. I’d rather Bama win but I think LSU is probably better, we’ll see how Bama performs tonight against the Gators.
Well Stanford put up another convincing conference win last night, romping on UCLA 45-19.
Luck looked great, but I’m starting to worry that he’s not putting up gaudy enough numbers to hold the Heisman (like Griffin III). I feel like when you come in as the front runner, you have to blow people away with stats to maintain that top spot.
I know it’s still early, but who are people leaning towards right now for Heisman?
Hey Terrelle Pryor hows that Pro Career going? You could have at least bought us dinner before you screwed us this season. Watching OSU yesterday made me want to gouge my eyes out…

Right now I think theres a lump of people where no one has really stood out against very good competition. I suspect the Heisman will go to the best player on one of the two NC teams.
Pretty stoked about how Alabama raped Florida as predicted earlier.
Screw auburn, they did not beat S.Carolina S.Carolina lost that game for themselves. They let themselves go and that last TD was so bs.
Wisconsin worried me there for a little.
Looking forward to the Alabam v LSU game later in the season, LSU is looking incredibly solid but at least we have established its pretty hard to stop the mixture of Richardson and Lacey on the run and then its way to hard to run on us. Unfortunate about Florida’s qb does anyone know if hell be ok? That back up had some fucking wheels on him. Much potential

Gators juts flat-out blew it yesterday. I have no idea how Muschamp didn’t prepare that defense for the inevitable smash mouth that was bound to ensue. Not happy with it, but that’s life.
Wisconsin, by the way, is a team to be GREATLY worried about. Besides RGIII there is no QB playing better than Russel Wilson right now (Sorry WestCoast, that means Andrew Luck too, IMO.)

YES. WISCONSIN. YES. As student at UW(game last night was nuts!) Im not entirely convince that the defense is rock solid, since Nebraska really had a high school offense(and a quarterback who throw very awkwardly), but I do know that in order to beat Wisconsin you must score over 40 points to have a chance. Wisconsin’s offense creates very easy throws for the QB, hence why scott tolzien was very successful last year and with Russ Wilson at the helm now, its a cake walk. I believe the true test will be Michigan,(MSU and OSU not looking too strong IMO), and michigan with Denard Robinson (who i think can throw better than Taylor Martinez with just as much speed).

Congrats on Wiscy’s win. That’s a damn good team.
And of course Denard Robinson will throw better than Taylor Martinez. Anyone can.

It’s a bummer, but Michigan and Wisconson won’t meet each other this season unless both can get to the Big 10 Championship game on December 3rd.
I have more faith that Wisconsin will make it there than Michigan at this point. Badgers are powerful. I’m not a fan of Velehma as a person, but I dig the way he coaches the game.

I just do not understand why they didn’t run the ball. Beck our O.C. didn’t really do a good job or calling the plays.
