I would say as a football town they probably fall into about 60% A&M and 30% LSU.
Not surprising. I think the fact that Texas has a cowboy reputation does disservice to the 5?, 7? cultural regions in Texas. When I was doing research down in N.O. after Katrina I got a lot of cold stares until I said I was from Texas, then it was open arms.
Man been all over this state there are for sure 5-7 cultural regions and differences. Hell in Houston alone there has to be 4, I havent been here long enough to attest to this.
Maybe Token can put in his .02 he has been here a lot longer.
Real talk. Alabama takes the win against Florida this weekend, our biggest test will be LSU who has been looking way to good. Luckily we play them at home and will have the advantage.
This is probably what the game will look like again
Any how Im driving down with a bunch of friends to wreck havoc in Gainsville I wonder if your QB will cry again like Teebow did?

I remember driving around the state as a kid and in some of the small towns you would still hear a non-English European language more than English. Last time I was in Fredricksburg I heard a good amount of German.

I have no clue how LSU ends up #4. Who knows which Jordan Jefferson will show up…it is all based off of history eventhough it has little to do with present reality. At least week 1 we’ll get some top 5 shake up with Oregon #3 vs LSU #4.
Either way, I am freakin’ ready!
My company is based out of BR and my boss has season tickets with his family. He is inviting me to the LSU and Florida game. They have the big 200,000 RV that is all decked out for tail gating etc. I am pumped to see the game and tail gate.
THAT IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY! You will have a blast. That game is scheduled as a night game. I hope CBS doesn’t bump that to 2 p.m. The night games rock the stands after that all day drinking and tail-gating. Enjoy!
You’ll still have an awesome weekend but a night game would be better.
God is just looking out for me, I would have been shit faced passed out drunk by night game.
LOL! True dat!
Yesterday, heading to the Dome around 9 a.m. there were lines outside the bars and the beer vendors had already seen plenty of action ahead of noon kickoff. You’ll see plenty of that at Tiger Stadium.

Or maybe he’ll own you, like Tebow did?
You can tell it’s been a while since Alabama was legit because their fans don’t know how to act like they’ve done this before. Wasn’t that long ago that you were squeaking by Colorado in the “Petrosun Independence Bowl” to bring your record to a whopping 7-6. Hell, you had LOSING seasons within the last ten years.
Remember the last time Florida had a 6 loss season? Me neither. I’m pretty sure I wasn’t even ALIVE the last time we finished under .500
