The ND/Mich game was awesome. I didn’t pay too much attention today since OU has a bye, but I did notice the longwhorns are doing really, objectively well.
cough

You mean twice with one school. I believe that’s a ‘Go Gators’. Your location says FL and you pull this? You should be ashamed. smh
Auburn and Alabama, geography r hard.
Which is more impressive/worthy of mention, championships by two schools in the same state, or two championship by the same school, IN THE SAME STATE AS THE LOCATION OF THE POSTER. Context r hard.
When you’re trying to point out dominance of a conference/localization, one team winning it twice doesn’t really say anything except that team was really good. Boise State could win the next 4 national championships and you wouldn’t say that the WAC and the state of Colorado are football powerhouses. So actually, you failed at both context and geography.

This Michigan/Notre Dame game is starting to get exciting.
Both jersey designs are awesome as well. Love the throwbacks. Way better than that insanity Maryland pulled last week.
What a game…I was pulling for Catholic power, but alas, the green never served them well. Terrible defense late, great fun though.

Any exciting games today ? I looked at the schedule, and other than Bama/Penn State, I don’t see much.
Hello GA vs. USC…Cocks drive it home between the hedges…

Btw Alabama= 13 soon to be 14 national championships (most in the nation) whose the closest to us? The mighty notre dame?? Lol god SEC go Crimson Tide !
Easy there killer, don’t talk shit in week 2 of the season.
Agreed, they don’t have a real challenge until week 10. They are playing the N. Texas Mean Green next week, what a joke. The only challenge they have is LSU…Maybe Auburn.
Running the table isn’t going to put them over OK unless they dominate LSU and Auburn. Or OK really fucks up.

lol. You clearly do not know SEC football if you think Alabama has an easy path. And if you think that Auburn is somehow the biggest bump in the road.

Until you change your avatar (don’t ever do this), I will continue to have difficulty reading what you’re saying.

Boise State = Idaho, so you fail at geography too.

LOL. Glad you pointed this out… I was just going to do so.
And yeah, Pat, who do you root for? Because I’ll go ahead and pull up their schedule and then I’ll post Alabama’s schedule, and we as a collective can go ahead and decide who has an easier schedule.
…that is, if you’re willing to stick to your guns. (You won’t win this “debate.”)

Don’t drink and post ladies and gentleman, you only make yourself look stupid.
Facepalm @ self.
Edit: Irony of failed geography aside, I maintain the point I made =p

It’s time to put the bottle down, already, Red. Sign off the intarwebs and go sleep this one off.
Interesting wrap-up of the first two weeks. Basically, the Pac-12, SEC and Big 10 are looking a bit weak.

Call me a sexist but I do not have much respect for a woman commenting on Football.
Man did we barely get by with that win?
I would just go with McCoy.

Ditto. Not that I don’t think there are girls who actually know sports, but in my experience, most (not all) women you hear talking about sports are trying really, really hard to be “one of the boys” by reciting a bunch of stuff they heard on ESPN, or from other people.
Even as a female, I find it jarring when a woman is one of the main commentators.

As a male, I find it jarring when I go to seriously comment on an NCAA thread and then see your avi and then don’t end up writing anything useful at all.

There was some pretty shitty logic in the article.
I think all we can say is that right now no one looks like a world beater but theat we probably have 4-6 pretty good teams.
The issue will be who gets better the fastest.

When any writer, man or woman, notes Lou Holtz as a “Die Hard ND fan” instead of “National Championship Winning former ND Head Coach” I get suspicious.
The Michigan/ND game is an instant classic for sure. Too damned exciting.
But, I’m a Michigan fan. And they played terribly. It shouldn’t have been a contest, but #16 was throwing over everybody’s head in the first half, the defense showed that it’s not comfortable in the new scheme, and Coach Hoakes is trying to run a clydesdale offence with racehorses, all while trying to keep his QB healthy.
Now that it’s Monday, it was a dicey win, especially with the size of the big ten teams looming.
