College Football 2011

Notre Dame at Michigan, first games under lights at the Big House should be interesting.

Wisconsin is destroying Oregon St

Auburn v Mississippi State is pretty good so far

I’m watching my alma mater SDSU play Army. It’s a close game, but I can’t stand teams like Army who do nothing but run the ball with the option.

This.

All of the top teams have enough question marks to make it interesting.

Embarrassing loss for BYU, embarrassing win for Texas.

This Michigan/Notre Dame game is starting to get exciting.

Both jersey designs are awesome as well. Love the throwbacks. Way better than that insanity Maryland pulled last week.

Can’t believe OSU almost dropped their in-state winning streak today, in the shoe, against Toledo. Not the sign of a good season even considering the ongoing suspensions(who will miss 2 huge conference games). Possibly many sadfaces to ensue.

Is the end of this ND/Michigan game for real? Fucking instant classic final quarter for the first ever night game in The Big House. I absolutely cannot believe they chose to throw the ball with 8 seconds left in position for the gimme field goal to force OT.

You mean twice with one school. I believe that’s a ‘Go Gators’. Your location says FL and you pull this? You should be ashamed. smh

Auburn and Alabama, geography r hard.

Jesus Christ… that game was crazy. I’m not a Michigan fan (and I’m DEFINITELY not a Norte Dame fan, though I live in Notre Dame territory,) but that was a great game. Still boggles my mind that Michigan hasn’t played a night game until this point.

And I totally agree about the uniforms - those were so sick. Permanent replacement! lol

USC - Utah was kind of disappointing for me, personally. I’m a Utah supporter since Urban Meyer’s regime and really wanted to see them start off with a big conference-opening win… sorry Greg. Good game, though.

Lastly, I’m loving that everyone in the college football world forgot about Florida. Good - I like it that way. I do now, especially after seeing SC vs Georgia that if we can keep Tennessee at bay winning the East will be a rather attainable and realistic expectation for this season. Looks like Muschamps’ defensive philosophy is working great for them (like we needed an excuse to play better D, haha,) and Weis’ playcalling suits Brantley well. As I said… Tennessee will be the other contender for the East.

South Carolina doesn’t have “it.” They really weren’t that good last year but every other team in the East was so bad that they made them look adequate. Georgia is explosive but inconsistent it appears.

Yay, NFL tomorrow! (Hops to other thread)

Which is more impressive/worthy of mention, championships by two schools in the same state, or two championship by the same school, IN THE SAME STATE AS THE LOCATION OF THE POSTER. Context r hard.

Gators looked a lot more impressive today, but if we continue to struggle in the red zone, we are not going to have a great season. Too many long drives over the last 2 weeks ending in field goals. Flea flicker on the first play of the game today, HUGE gain… and we get a field goal. That shit won’t cut it against Alabama and LSU.
