Heading over to Stanford Stadium in about 10 minutes. Can’t wait to watch Luck put up 4+ touchdowns.
Heisman journey starts now.
Trojans up over Minnesota, 6-0 so far. Defense is much improved.

The bottom line is these top teams need less plays than the smaller schools because of athlete to athlete discrepancies. Still pisses me off.

Looks like a good way to start a Heisman campaign. Sounds like fun!

Better hope your boys start getting with it soon on offense. I expected an offensive showdown, not a defensive standoff on this one, haha.
IDK if anyone else gets the game, but the Western Mich - Michigan game has had two lightning delays now. It’s funny because Craig James and the other commentator have been commenting on how crazy the weather here is, and how it’s been since they’ve been there. It’s the truth, Michigan weather is nuts. ![]()
Shit that was close.
I’m a Michigan fan and i’ve been watching the game. Said the weather startd at like 93 degrees, I was shocked it was that hot up there.
I like what I’m seeing out of the Wolverines. The pro style offense puts some of the tough swagger back into Michigan football. The running backs have stepped up and played well to take some of the load off of Robinson’s shoulders. Defense looks to be improving and I like the blitz packages they are using. I certainly don’t expect them to be winning the big 10 this year but I do think they are headed in the right direction.

Can’t see the game here but that sounds promising for Michigan(wifes a grad).
The BYU vs. Ole Miss game was like watching two kids with downs syndrome dance.
Two absolute shit teams flailing at each other.
I couldn’t believe Auburn/Utah State. I love how all the asshole fans left with 4 minutes left…big mistake.

I stopped watching and went to work out to channel my rage. I am do glad they won, but if they continue to pull crap like that, I will flip a lid.
also, I’m currently 6/10 on my college confidence pick em. I just wish I hadn’t picked georgia and oregon.
Speaking of which, I’ve never wanted four teams to all lose as badly as those four.

Yep, my wife is an Auburn grad and she was sick with about four minutes left but she wouldn’t stop watching just in case.
Someone needs to compile a record of wins/losses in those Nike Pro Combat uniforms. I am pretty sure everyone who wears them loses.
Oregon is choking.
Oregon is just making too many mistakes. They look like they are playing a preseason game with all those turnovers and penalties.

Stanford dominated 57-3 and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. Exactly how a Saturday should be spent.
Luck’s numbers weren’t amazing (12-26 171yds and 2TDs, 1 rushing TD) but they were good, and he came out at the end of the third quarter.
Question: In the long run do you think it would have been better or worse for Stanford if Oregon had won tonight??
I’d say it would have better if they’d won, because of then Stanford is facing a higher ranked opponent down the road, making a winner bigger and a loss less of a sting. Thoughts?

Agreed on that, they are an eyesore.

That’s pretty much how I always feel. Everyone Oklahoma plays should be undefeated but for the smashing loss to OU. This of course, excludes texas, which should just be nuked off the face of the earth every game.
Stanford plays three ranked teams so you need them to be as highly ranked as possible I’d think.
