College Football 2011

And…48-47.

WOW. If this the 2ns night of football this season… it is going to be a fantastic year.

FTR, Pachall looked like a stud as a sophomore QB making his career start in a fairly hostile situation.

Great game. Who needs defense, amirite?

Awesome.

AWESOME game.

Kind of depressing though. I’ll be graduating in December and I thought I was ready to leave all of it behind and get out into the ‘real world’. First game of the season and now I wish I could stay in school forever :[

That’s college for you.

Who are people taking in the Oregon vs. LSU game today?

Personally, I thnk LSU is way over ranked, especially with the suspensions and turmoil that is facing that squad. I’ll take the Ducks by 10.

football football football football.

There’s nothing like the Swamp on a Saturday night. I’m pumped.

I’ll take LSU if Jarrett Lee can play well.

Kind of a big if…

Should be a fun one to watch for sure. The uniforms Oregon is busting out tonight are simply out of control:

God… so fucking jealous.

Props to Baylor. They came in with a plan and executed it on offense. Obviously I wanted us to win last night but the biggest concern for me was whether or not Pachall was legit.

He appears to be that and more. Analysts have said he is faster, more athletic, and has a better arm than Dalton. I saw a lot of good things from a sophomore starting for the first time.

GP needs to do something about the secondary on both sides. Our receivers couldn’t catch and our secondary couldn’t play man to man. If that keeps up, this won’t be the only game we lose.

After watching Griffen beat UT last year I was not surprised with last nights game.
PMPM yea no defense at all looked like the big 12/10-2=8.

All 4,083,129 of us in Louisiana will be watching.

LSU Pros: Mad Hatter seems to coach up the teams in any kind of turmoil. 23-0 out of conference games under Miles. 17-0 in Sept. Defense seems to just reload. Ducks had problems with big athletic defense against Aubrun. LSU’s national championships have been won with normal pocket passers and great defense.

LSU Cons: LaMichael James. Starting QB out. Lots of distractions and suspensions. Option style game plan yielded 400+ yards for Auburn against LSU last year making them look like they forgot how to tackle. Probably can’t hang in a shootout.

Honestly, I have no idea what to expect. Several outcomes would not surprise me. Gonna approach it that way and seek to remain calm no matter what.

Knock, Knock…Hello, Auburn’s Defense. Is there anyone home? Hello. Knock. Knock. Knock.

I’ll be honest man, I really don’t want any SEC teams to lose but I kind of need Auburn to lose to make my predictions this weekend come true - lol.

Most are playing teams they shouldn’t lose too. Auburn’s defense is getting tired since they have played about 75 snaps! They are in trouble.

By the way, you need to see Eddie Lacy (Alabama RB) get crushed from behind trying to keep a rush going with his hand on the ground. CRAP! I am still laughing out loud - literally! CRUSHED!

Is ESPN really this out of touch that me or any other football fan wants to listen to a chick sounding like a dude-wannabe female announcer? How about you?

This almost wants to make me watch soccer…not quite.

Yeah, she’s been commenting on stuff for years now. I was taken aback when I first heard her but… these days it’s just part of the Saturday audio. 8)

I am a bit shocked by the Baylor win, but good for them. They sucked for soooooo long.

Would have liked to see Auburn go down. Basically, unless it is a team I am rooting for I like unranked to beat ranked and lower ranked to be higher ranked (except of course for USC and Notre Dame, just want them to lose). If an upset will further upset the BCS applecart, I am all for it.

So the question is, does Auburn remain ranked next week? Cannot imagine they will go up.

Fucking Utah State.
