I have been following the Big East expansion (though that is like calling midnight cheap beer and cheaper Mexican food diariah loose stool) and they are looking to develop a western division - a demand made by Boise St. and that explains SD St. and SMU. Thought they were supposed to be picking up Houston as well. What’s another hour on a plane anyway?

That actually makes sense then, although I’d assume like all conferences with divisions there will still be interdivisional games, so SDSU/Boise are still in for probably 1 extra bad road trip per season now.
So, they clearly can’t call it the Big East anymore. What are they going to call it?

The Big 12 has 10-1+1-1+1 teams
I already suggested my name for the conference.

Crossroads Conference
BCS please, conference
Minor.college market football conference
Frequent fliers elite club conference
I think the west conference should be called either the Frontier Division or Wild West. The Least of the East for the existing schools.
With two Texas, former Southwest Conference teams I guess I should pay some attention. I will try to remember that in '13.
I am hearing that Sumlin is all but signed at A&M.

Eventhough I know there are a million variables, I have often wondered what a guy like Mangino (sp) ate and how he got it. I mean if these coaches are working day and night, sleeping in offices, etc. Who and how is he getting a supply of food to maintain that massive frame? And what is it? Is there a worn trail to the cafeteria or fast food wrappers everywhere?
