Thats what they said about Oklahoma and Boise a few years ago… And about Alabama and Utah.

Missouri to SEC announcement eminent

No real surprise except that Missouri will be moving to the East division, not the West as many expected.

Apparently here is the new SEC

We’re the D’a good? Yeah. We’re the O’s almost unwatchable? Yup.
Any game that is entirely defined by the awful performances of kickers and punters, is by definition a horrible game and unwatchable. I can’t imagine what would transpire if Saban was placed in a room full of guns and baseball bats with only his kickers and punters, while replays of the missed kicks and horrific punts are being played on every wall.

The Stanford/USC game last week was 11 million times better than the LSU/'Bama game last night. A fact that has been proven by science.
I will agree with that. USC should have had a chance to win it in the 4th, but they had some bad clock management. It was one of the best games I’ve seen all season.

Not to completely excuse those losses(because they are in part, inexcusable) but those teams lost their ‘final’ games of the season to miss a shot at national championships, and got a sort of consolation BCS game vs a team they thought they’d crush. I can legit see how young 20 something men can let that lead to a lackluster performance.

That’s why last year was such a copout, Boise/TCU had a chance to play teams that were never in the national title race(or were out of it early enough to reassess goals), and were playing their seasons for stuff like the Rose Bowl or w/e conference BCS bowl. Those would be much better indicators imo, playing teams who didn’t just lose their conference title game and ‘settle’ for it. Instead they played each other, real dodge on the part of the BCS.

Looks good to me.

I’d love to see a map of the new Big East hahaha, that would look ridiculous.

Meh. I wasnt in favor of any expansion at all, but the higher ups answer to $$$$, not to me.

Auburn should move to the East and Missouri should join the West. Putting a team in the East that is more western than half of the teams in the West is dumb. I’m sure as hell not driving to Missouri to watch a game.

Arkansas is ranked #7 in the BCS and beats the team ranked #9 in the BCS and where do they land in the newest rankings??? #8 LOLOLOL!!!

You beat a Top 10 BCS Team and fall in the polls… Lolz

Dont remind me lol…apparently winning is not enough.

Hopefully TCU can help you out there this weekend. We moved the ball at will v. Wyoming but 5 turnovers made it more interesting than it needed to be.

Was pretty dissappointed by the ending of the Bama game, but you have to score when you get the chances.

Frankly until the current system changes you are always going to hear about the best team in the have not conferences. One of the reasons you have not heard much from Hawaii is that they have not had the same level of success since June Jones left. He seems to have SMU pointed in right direction.

The worst thing to hapen to Boise is the move to the now gutted MWC where they are no longer under contract with ESPN. Boise will get ignored as TCU was. The champ of the MAC or sunbelt will get more love, but do not have the history that Boise has.

Thankfully TCU is in the Big 12 next year and will finally get to try it on the field as opposed to just arguing in the field of public opinion.

I guess it’s because like everyone they’ve beaten lost this week? I don’t usually look at the numbers that closely but if they were barely ahead of Oregon than a slight drop in computer rankings that a 1-8 week does to your SoS could be why.

I’m not saying it’s right, just trying to give you an explanation that at least makes SOME sense, and isn’t just ‘WHAT THE FUCK HOW???’ In general I agree, wtf did Oregon do to deserve moving ahead of them? Especially because for Arkansas this rank really matters, if they finish outside of the guaranteed bids they might not get a BCS bowl with 2 SEC teams already ahead of them.

^^arkansas beat a BCS Top 10 team, Oregon beat an unranked team and jumped over them. Strength of Schedule? LOL

The BCS is a joke.

Ya it’s all the media polls faults. 2/3’rd of the BCS equation and they didn’t change Arkansas position at all, beating another top10 team not good enough to warrant them moving ahead of OU or Oregon apparently. The polls are always so rigid this late in the season, no explanation for that, seems like losing is the only way to change ranking barring beating a significantly higher ranked team.

Are yall reading all this Penn State stuff? That whole ship is about to sink, JoePa included.

I know.

I can understand and forget the Wisconsin loss, but this was just plain horrible. I thought after the Michigan State win, this team was starting to gel and get in sync. I was wrong.

Holy fucking shit, have you guys read up on Penn State?!?!

This is way way worse than Ohio State or Miami’s skirting of NCAA rules. This is a former assistant coach having sex with young boys in the fucking locker room. Former long-time DC who was seen as JoePa’s successor at one point, and started a sham charity to lure young boys (allegedly, but the witnesses and evidence are mounting). PSU’s AD and VP of Finance have already stepped down and are facing perjury charges. PSU’s president is involved. Joe Paterno is involved. Incredible.

This shit is hard to read. Jesus fucking christ.

What I read Joe Pa reported it when he first discovered it and the Pedo was not even a coach at that time. But yea this is going to blow the fuck up.

sorry, overstand, didn’t see your post before I put up mine.

This is a mess. I didn’t think I could be shocked by scandal in college football anymore, but this is fucking insane.
