I just like the way this looks don’t know to much about it. Its the Cold Steel Spartan. 50bucks at knifecenter.com.
I, too, am into blades. I’m not yet looking to pay THAT much for one, though. Maybe up to $200.00. Any suggestions? I’m more into the offensive/defensive side of the house, btw.
And just to end this fun. I found this at the same spot for about $140.00 and this will be my early retirment present.

You can find this for about 71 bucks, The ak-47 (yeah they named it after the gun). I have to say I’ve never held one in my hand. So this is just a sugestion. You might want to yield to guys that have tested it.
Hmmmmm, ok maybe if I was going to move down south and become a river boat gambler and had 4 nephews working for Microsoft or members of NSYNC (out of date joke). I would get this But the cheapest I could find was $350. and that is to much for a knife that I would never carry or use. Cost to much to lose.

The Buck Ranger, I’ve had this knife for about 20 years. It was given to me by the forman of the Roofing Company I worked for. This thing has been to every island on the windward passage and has cut thru Line, Carved thru wood, Nailed in small nails taken out splinters hahahaha and thrown into many Tree trunks. Old Faithfull If it was just not so damn heavy.
Buck Ranger
about 40 bucks

Holy Shit! Blast from the past. My brother passed that knife on to me and I have lost and found that thing for about 10 years. Mine is as dull as a big tittied blonde but it doubles as a hammer like you said. Its got solid weight.
I’ve held the AK 47 it is sharp as shit and has a even weight to it. I can see Beast bleeding some dude out with it very easily.

Man mine has dents from banging nails, and still has a edge but I should find someone to put the cut back into my old faithfull. Yeah I can’t help BEAST out with the Tactical blades. My only other suggestion would be the recon class from Cold or the fixed blades from Ka’bar
And this is anyone’s Pocket/KeyChain best friend. Just something to have for whenever. At 20 bucks a pop you can’t beat this keychain tool/Blade.

Cold Steel Voyager Extra Large 4’ blade. My nephew joined the Airforce and I might have this for him as a christmas present. [/quote]
That’s a nice blade. I was considering this or the Sog Trident.
The Cold Steel Gurkha Kukri is seriously impressive. There’s a video showing how easily it slices.
^those blades always make me think of this pic.

Wow that is an understatement, The look surgical, nice but wow, 300 was the cheapest I could find. Do you have any experience with this make of knife?
KA-BAR TDI Law Enforcement 3-11/16" Combat Black Drop, I enjoyed holding this blade. But just could not figure out how I could use it on the day to day. It made me feel like I was a ninja.
Cold Steel Extra Large Espada VII 7.5" Blade with Aluminum and G10 Handle Scales,
This thing is not a Knife, Its a mini folding sword. It makes me want to move to Puerto Rico and Cut Sugar and look cool while I do it.
7.5 inches of blade alone, the whole knife is 16’. hahahahah wow.
Edit: $280.00 (out of my reach until I become rich or conan)
I’m a fan of Spyderco (have several models, the Military being my favorite) since I saw the movie “Cliffhanger” (guy uses a Spyderco SE Endura)
They’re addictive to collect, used a few for EDC. For some reason they get a lot of movie placement since they’re so flashy yet subtle than other knives (Spyderco Police model used by Denzel in Training Day, Civilian used by bad guy in Bad Boys, Hannibal the Cannibal uses a SS Harpy, etc.)
Cold Steel is awesome, have the Vaquero XL (it’s a damn machete for a folding knife) & the Recon One Tanto
Also a big fan of the original Benchmade CQC-7 line (think they’re up to model 15+), and some Gerber models are nice too.
There are a lot better knives than Cold Steel. Trying out a Mad Dog knife or check out some other custom knife makers out. Picky knife guys in the know tend to look down on these. Guys that actually use their knives I mean, not just safe queens.
I’ve seen nothing better than a Mad Dog knife. Of course you will pay, but you’re not getting some over priced thing that won’t deliver in the wild. Check out www.edgedspecialties.com or www.mdtactical.com. You won’t regret it if you ever buy one.
Other than having one helluva an edge you get a lifetime warranty and free sharpening , (you pay for shipping and return postage and can’t try to take it apart and refinish it or something else stupid), incredible performance, different tempering to have a strong, sharp edge, but still retain a flexible enough spine to prevent breakage.
You’ll have a knife that will hold value or appreciate even with regular usage. You pay 995$ for an ATAK now and use it hard, you’ll get 995$ for it in ten years. I’ve paid 250$ to 4000$ for some of his work over the years. That 250$ knife got me 1500$ from a dealer 17 years later. He sold it for 2850$!
You get a glass composite handle that will insulate you from 20,000+ volts which will withstand over 70,000 psi crushing force btw. Kevin’s sight is www.tacticalforums.com btw. You must apply for membership. You’ll be approved, but he doesn’t tolerate nonsense.

yes I am a GEEK when it comes to Anime, Comic Books and Knives. I Seen the knife Rorke had in that movie and looked it up.
The Large one is just comical. I can’t imagine anyone needing a utility knife that big unless your hunting.
NOT bad. Most of my blades are cheap except the one from work and the utility one I use for everything, And my Buck that I use when I get underway for patrol.
Any recomendations on this blade or any like it? I’m on the fence but chances are I will buy it.

This blade has the stamped approval of the man in the picture. Sorry just popped in my head.
