My question is not about me, but is rather about my younger brother. He’s 15 years old, 6’3" and only 150lbs. He’s going into his Sophomore year of high school, and has hopes of playing basketball in college. Over the past few years he’s become really serious about his basketball, and now realizes that to reach his goals he has to take himself to the next level by hitting the gym. So I have a few questions for you. First, he’s still growing. He most likely has a couple more inches in him. Is it okay for him to get into a serious lifting program at this point in his development? If so, I was wondering if you could help him put together a nutrition guide and a lifting program to help him add some much needed mass. If there’s any way you could help him out, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Of course I will be happy to help. Where do we start - if you prefer to contact me via email please go ahead. As far as diet, I am real old school with trying to re-inforce good dietary habits first and foremost. With nutrition this site has an abundant wealth of knowledge so I doubt we can exhaust that! Hmm, maybe I can convince TC on an article on “t-mag hoop-dreams” : ) I look forward to hearing from you. In faith, Coach Davies
