Cluster training

Has anyone used the cluster training by CT yet? How did it work?

If you are talking about his auto reg clusters I like using them on my ME days. I train alone and do not have anything to catch a “miss”. These let me use heavy weights (~95%). While I don’t hit a true 1rm, I think the added volume compesates for this a little bit.

I periodize the exercises and volumes. I usually try for 5-8 singles (using CT’s guidelines for reps and rest intervals). If I get 8 without slowing down, I increase the weight the following week. I usually work in three week cycles, with a one week unload/high rep.

I really like clusters so far (16 weeks) my strength has been steadily going up.
