CLA, EPA, DHA and Flameout.

If I were to choose a fish oil capsule other than Flameout, it would be Nordic Naturals cod liver oil. The DHA content is higher than EPA, plus it comes with vitamin E. On top of that I don’t get fish burps like with Flameout and any other brand capsule I try.

I just found out they sell this brand at Vitamin Shoppe so if I get low on Flameout, I’ll swing by and pick of a bottle of this job to tide me over.

Have those who have used both Flameout and other sources of fish oil in high doses [say 16 pills] really experienced greater joint relief from Flameout?

Not really. Fish oil is one of those “you should take it just because” supplements, like multi-vitamins. I honestly never have seen a tangible benefit to it. I feel the same not taking it as I do taking it (from all aspects, including joint relief). I still take it though, just not Flameout. I buy generic stuff. I prefer to spend the majority of my supplement bill on Surge, Metabolic Drive, BCAA’s, and Creatine.

Yeah. I see a tangible benefit from fish oil in joint lubrication and comfort but not really from one brand over the other in equivalent doses.
