Really just speaking in general terms.

Someone with your moral views/ideals will have trouble building a family nowadays.

Didn’t ask you about your sexual history, only if you wanted kids and a family. Something people ask in casual conversation with friends.

Your arrogance is breathtaking.

How can you possibly know what sort of women populate his life? I don’t care if statistics show that 90% of US women have sex before marriage (not to mention that you seem be basing your “expertise” on your own nearly meaningless experience), you have no inkling of the nature of his life.
I can haz pix of members of the “graseater” movement please?

This is the gist of the situation. Western Civilization today has one end in mind…orgasm. They act rather like herion fiends about it, they throw everything out the window to get it. And, if anyone tries to stop them from reaching it it is a hate crime or someone is a prude or something.

We eat because of it, we sleep because of it, we workout because of it, we base our philosophy and theology around it.

When it comes down to circumcision…these guys have been told by someone that they are missing something, and without this piece of skin they can’t have the ultimate orgasm. So, they have been “mutilated” and it is understandable why they are upset. But, at the end of the day orgasms don’t make you happy, and not having a foreskin doesn’t take away feeling anyway.
Busting a nut in my GF sure puts a smile on my face.
I have no doubt it does, but does it truly make you happy to not be in a committed relationship? Objectifying your GF? I’d say each their own, but that is BS.
Who said we’re not in a committed relationship?
Not married.
So?

When I say secular culture is here to stay I mean w/ respect to our lives. You won’t see a shift back to people marrying their high school sweethearts anytime soon.

If you can find a woman who will marry you without having sex first (granted she will likely have had sex prior to meeting you) good for you.

I guess I’ll be skeptical until it happens though. Especially if you’re older and approaching 30. Most who don’t have premarital sex in their lives marry young.

So?
So where’s the committed part?

Edit: Seriously, what does it mean to be committed these days? That you’re exclusively ‘busting a nut’ (not my words) in one girl for the time being? That you’ve at least proposed? Is this The One?

No worries.

My community, my social life, and the people I associate with, are all completely foreign to him.

You are not paying attention.

I would say that there is a swing away from more strict orthodox theism in the western world, particularly among younger people, sure.

But this ideal that atheism/secular nation is taking over or going to take over is as silly as the typical economic beliefs that are often held the same lost souls that feel their college degree somehow makes them superior.

The contemporary higher education system sucks off the teet of the collective, all while churning out arrogant, entitled little robots who can’t even begin to see the harsh lessons the real world is about to teach them, because the state controlled, state mandated and state run education they have enlightened them to utopia.

I’m ranting off topic.

It really doesn’t matter I’m still confident based on what I do know.

Prove me wrong and I’ll happily admit I’m wrong. I think you’re an idealist though.

No, its not.

You have devoutly religious people outbreeding secular culture.

The Mormons in the US, Muslims in Europe and you would not believe how fast a society can be replaced if one group starts having children at the age of 18-20 instead of 30-35 and has 4 children instead of 1,5.
But where did all these secular people come from in the first place? Most have parents who are religious.

When I’m right I’m right.

And when you are wrong, you still think you are right.

The percentage of people having sex out of marriage is not, and never has been 100%.

However rare it may be, doesn’t mean you can turn that into “never” and try and use that as justification to elevate your position over that of another’s.

Just because something is hard, doesn’t mean it isn’t worth doing.

Yes nothing is 100%.

I could win the lottery tomorrow too.

Something to be considered is going on the assumption that you’ll achieve 100% conversion with those children. As time goes by, I think that you’ll see more and more people leave their religions because they see the nonsense that is being spouted.

Prove you wrong about who I know? About the associations I have? The people I know and surround myself with? Lol.

That you can achieve the family unit you desire while maintaining your ideals.

Hey I’m not trying to say your morals/ideals are good or bad just unrealistic.

Very realistic.

Well good luck to you, I’ve said my peace.
