yeah i was just saying to my mate that I swear ill never shave my chest.

watch this space lol. some day ill be super cut and all my body hair related promises will go out the window.

So thats 8 pounds in 1 month, thats about as fast as im wanting to lose it.

Ive calculated some stuff though.

in order to count as 8% on the navys body comp charts ill need to go from a 36 inch navel to a 30 inch navel…i dont think they envisioned guys with muscle when they made these charts.

also, to get to 8% id need to be about 193, which is less than i want to be!

one month ago:

weight 214 pounds

19.4 % BF

41.5 fat
172.5 lbm

normal low carb days (6 days of the week) between 30-90g of carbs.
most of these are from 8 or 9 cups of green veg though.

on my carb up day im taking in 300g of bread and pasta and oats.

but that carb up day im hoping to remove for the next 4 weeks to see what difference it makes.

my prediction is:
I will lose weight faster without the carb up, but on Sunday or Monday of next week ill see a dip in body temp.

If i dont see that dip because of a metabolic slow down I will certainly expect to see what due to coming off my HOT-ROX (only got 1 bottle!)

good stuff, this is my lowest weight yet…and its post carb meal day.

this means that I expect the usual pound of weight loss between now and sat morning, but without having to lose carb and water weight first.

Considering the major road block im trying to get to asap is 200 pounds, its only going to take 3-4 weeks more.

Hopefully the weekend measurements will show me my muscle mass hasnt depleted too much. Id be happy to end this on 170 LBM +.

thanks to having to slog my way through a KG of cold mushy green beans yesterday (overcooked them and the company microwave is missing)
combined with a recalculation of my BMR means im cutting out the nuts and restricting my weekday intake to white lean meat only…in order to get below my new calorie needs of 2500.

This is quite an aggressive step, but with HOT-ROX stopping soon it may be necessary.

combine this with no carb reloads for the next fortnight and im expecting bad results on the body temp and lbm front.

However, I need to test my limits, in case I could be more efficient that i think.

If i start seeing issues ill add in some oats first thing in the morning.

thats been key for me - the cleaner I eat - the quicker I get back to calorie surplus and mass gain, which, lets face it, is the fun part.

These were my stats December 1st (after the majority of my massive weight loss)

weight 198 pounds.
31.2 fat
166.8 lbm

Now:
weight 207 pounds
fat mass 33.2
lbm 173.8

So by Saturday I will basically be back where I was pre bulk, but with another month to go!

So Im anticipating to meet my all time low body fat weight, and then surpass that by either:

3 more inches off navel waist

or

8 more pounds of fat loss.

Either is good!

oh, I will be the same except with 7 pounds more muscle ;]

So ive lost a little circumference on all areas.
with non flexed chest that certainly because of the fat loss.
0.2-0.5 inch loss on the other areas is acceptable, I could write that off to a million things, but even if its all muscle loss ill accept it

after quite drastic drops in weight and measurements I decided that I will carb reload.

I would like to know what would happen if I didnt reload, but tbh im not willing to risk my muscle for it!

I am averaging about 2 pounds of fat loss a week so far and I think the carb reload is essential in my case.

yesterday i had:

1 white roll
1 wholemeal roll
1 small cup porridge
3 wholemeal dark chocolate and brown sugar muffins
3 scoops of ice cream.

my best carb reload yet as i managed to get a good balance of wholesome ingredients, with a lot of treat like taste!

I will be considerably heavier come weigh in tomorrow morn! lol

If you keep on lifting progressively, you shouldn’t really be losing any muscle. At least not at your current body-fat level.

If I might give you an advice: keeping my carb reloads aka refeeds as fat-free as possible always gave me the best results.

How about some photo updates?

Well my prob is I really noticed when I dropped the cals down in accordance with my new weight and new BMR.

I have barely been able to do what I could do a month ago - so im not progressing which is why im concerned for my muscle health.

New pictures will prob come once ive beaten 206 pounds…which will be 5 or 6 days I predict!
