hi all,

ive been considering my upcoming bulk for a long time now.

reading the recent threads about fat gain whilst bulking has opened my eyes quite a bit.

I am a fan of Thibs and Shugart’s general idea of meso cycles and clean bulking.

but the more I read about it, it becomes clear that this is a great way to tweak and develop rather than initially form yourself.

Ive come to realise that despite my natural large size…I havent really every piled on the muscle, and I should be doing this now while im still in my mid 20s, and settle into an aesthetically appealing phase at a later date.

On this vein of thought, it occurs to me that getting myself down to below 10% bodyfat may be an exercise in futility and a general waste of time.

Yes id like to see myself uber ripped. But to be honest ill enjoy that for about a week or two and then work my way into a massive eating bulk year perhaps more.

During that year ill put on at least 20 pounds of fat, and so undoing my last 7 weeks work.

Im fine with this…I just am seriously considering finishing this cut earlier than intended and clean but big bulking sooner.

any input would be welcome. part of me thinks im rationalising myself away from my cabbage and spinach life.

but the other part says to stamp down on the voice that will tell me im still fat and that will always scream loudest and hardest when im doing well in a bulk.

the same voice wants me to cut for another month, and that same voice will keep me from ever sustaining a bulk for a year.

body temp is starting to take a dip. think ill up my calories by 300 next week and add in a little more cardio.

after 2 days eating 300 cals more my body temp is up.

in combination with this 2 pound weight gain my waist measurements have gone down.

Guess that can only be good.

Not seeing a lot of difference here despite 7 or so pounds of fat loss since the last pics. must have come off my legs mostly looking at it!

ive decided to come off my thermapure because it was giving me mean headaches.

this in combo with my dropping body temp and lack of energy, as well as being at my leanest ever has sparked me into finishing my cut.

I will now introduce a little fruit and oats into my breakfast and slowly go up to maintenance over the next 3 weeks.

after 4 days on small carb increase:
