Chuck Taylors...

I am going to get some Chuck Taylors tommorrow, but I don’t know what they are made off. I saw some off brands that had leather like a basketball shoe, and another that was some kind of material. I know that’s not descriptive, but can someone inform me as to what the Chuck Taylors are made out of, so I know what im looking for exactly?

google image search is your friend

I hear they’re made of beaver.

Payless shoe store sells them. About $20-25, don’t exactly remember. I have seen them made of leather before, but canvas is the main ingredient.

My pair just arrived this morning.

Those are my weightlifting shoes.

pimp i still have my old pair from jr high all tore up and faded

cant wear them anymore my feet are bigger now but still I
got em

I bought a pair of Chucks once but could feel every little pebble that I trod on with them… not to mention that they looked like clown shoes!

Do they come in a bigger size anywhere online? The couple online stores I checked only go up to 13. I have like a size 15 wide foot. I could probably squeeze into a 14 though.

Wouldn’t mind getting some, I usually lift in my weightlifting shoes or basketball shoes-yeah not great-

Also wouldn’t you want low top to allow for more ankle mobility?

Nah, you’ll be fine with highs. They’re made from canvas. Oh and don’t play basketball in them. Unless you have strong ankles.

Sorry bro, just borrowing them.

I’m probably the only one here who hates Chuck Taylors. Stupid looking, no arch support, and not made for a wide foot.
Besides, I wore those things in the 60’s as a boy, and no way am I wearing kid-looking shoes as a 45-year-old man.

Shizen, check out www.eastbay.com A little pricey, but they usually carry large sizes.
