What do you mean? Per day? I would imagine a Third World subsistance farmer though lean, would still provide a good deal of calories. Probably in the 20,000 range. So eating a whole one per day would DEFINATELY put you into the plus size. Now eating one per week, that might be a stretch.

I live in Kuwait at the moment and I see exactly what this stupid article is trying to do. There is this mentality in the Middle East now that having a gut is attractive. Even the mannequins at the mall have a gut. I was at the hospital to get my physical a few months back and I was horrified. Every male from 16-30 wore skin tight shirts and had huge guts. I kept flinching because it was only a matter of time until one of the buttons on their ample bellies burst off and possibly impale my eye. Then when I finally get in to see the doctor, he says that I was the only guy that he’d seen all day with a flat stomach. I’m not even in great shape and it was seriously a relief for this poor doc to see someone with a waist measurement of under 40 inches. These idiots are killing me.
