For the same reason we can’t just “fix” a pancreas. Diabetics are dependent on insulin injections instead. Modern medicine isn’t able to do that yet for most cases
Sounds like it worked wonders at first, you only needed to optimize treatment. You speak of depending on TRT is a bad thing, I depend on a lot of things like like supplementing vitamin C or else I’ll become deficient. I also depend on TRT for healthy testosterone.
So if I have your analogy correct, I should just stop vitamin C intake and let the deficiency happen and just ride with it wherever it takes me? If I did that I would basically be giving up on life.
Same thing really with those who are primary hypogonadism and low natural testosterone. Your brain calls for it, but your balls don’t make it. Why not replace the test your balls can’t make so you feel better?
I do hope you find what you are looking for along your journey though.
Vitamin C pills aren’t injections
But why the f i had euphoria on HCG after first injection and then it stopped working ?
What I said was an analogy and wasn’t supposed to be taken literally. You can have vitamin C infused (injections), but it seems you missed the point entirely or you are being a smart alec.
The half life of HCG is 24 to 36 hours, you were taking it every 4 days. You’re levels were probably swinging from high to low and some guys don’t respond well when levels are declining too quickly.
When my levels are declining for more than two days, my body ignores testosterone even if levels are 700 ng/dL (264-916). Another reason why HCG would stop working is because your HPTA is shutting down, the same thing will happen when you start TRT usually with 1-3 weeks.
I was shut down after only one 6mg injection, labs show it four days later.
You can get euphoria on every injection of heroin
@ineedenergy
You can try Wellbutrin. Of all the antidepressants it’s one of the least horrible. The problem is after a while it stops working that well. TRT had much more of an impact than Wellbutrin for me. I was on it for 5 years. It takes a good 8 weeks before Wellbutrin starts working.
So why ??
Probably the same reason I felt like shit from the first shot of testosterone and after 8 weeks felt amazing.
Half-lives, the drug or testosterone has to build up in your system because levels peak and stabilize after 6 weeks, you want to skip that process and go straight to feeling good.
You think your the only one who feels like shit after their first injection, join club because most us go through the same thing except we don’t quit because things get difficult.
I’m pretty sure Wellbutrin has to go through 3 or 4 passes of being metabolized before you get to the substance that actually does what it does, so it takes some time.
Guy joins TRT forum and tells everyone how bad TRT is, Feels like shit yet ignores all advice and wants help!
They call these people ASKholes.
Why TRT failed for this guy ?
I don’t see any labs from this guy. And from what I see here, 200mg/week is an overkill for many people.
@meisterxx97
There’s probably more folks on 200mg than any other dose. Most folks here have issues and that’s why they’re here. A very small minority (not so on this forum) have low SHBG that requires them to use a much lower dose or they issues.
Your endo even said testosterone is the best antidepressants, she is smart. What you are doing hasn’t worked yet, you’d be stupid to not try something different.
Start injecting 150mg testosterone every week, preferably split it into 7 micro injections daily. Wait 6-12 weeks (i say 12 because youre overweight) if you dont wanna die from a heart attack why are you overweight
she’s a quack ! she says checking estrogen is not important, testosterone has no side effects, remedy against all diseases.
why you decided i’m overweight ? i’m 183 cm tall, 77 kg weight. i’m skinny fat. i’ve layer of fat on my belly
She may be the best you’re going to get, you could do worse. She will hopefully learn. Everyone will need slightly different dosing do to individual conversion rates of T->E2->DHT.
I think the problem is the inexperienced doctors expect everyone to do well on the same dosage and same protocol. Look at me, I need only 7mg daily (49mg weekly), most would need quite a bit more T to get relief.
Giving everyone the same protocol makes it easy on the doctors and they don’t have to spend as much time on each patient, but unfortunately this is not how TRT works and requires a little bit of problem solving skills that can’t be done in the time span of a 10-15 minute visit unless you’re really smart.
