I’m in Petoskey man, & yeah it is kinda sparse up there. Guess just try & keep an eye out for cheap used gear, eat like others have recommended. Though its to late this year, I usually try to be in a gaining phase during this time of year, helps to be able to eat guilt free over the holidays.

if you are, cram your face with protein rich foods before migrating to the sugary crap. Keep it up in the gym if possible. The gym is not closed for a month so make an effort to go as much as possible.

I think the biggest thing to avoid is just sugary junk like cakes and pies. If you can keep that stuff at bay, eat lots of other tasty morsels that are protein rich, and lift 60-70% of your holiday, there will be no hinderence to your progress.
