It was crazy here with all the Mac students dressed like green morons and drunk as hell. We live across the street and I almost killed a couple.
Squat
bar-10
135-5
165-3
195-1
215-6x1
215-7 super rep PR of some variety. No belt I beat BB for reps by one but his looked a lot better. My last rep was uuuugly.
My short term goal is 225 for 5. I think I’m there. For some reason, that’s a big one for me. I’ve tripled it a number of times but getting 5 means it’s like a meh weight.

Mac? Did a lot come over? Western is the local brand name.
I didn’t realize what went down in London until I watched the news tonight. That was crazy. Our area was just drunk kids but no riots or violence. I’m a Western graduate from way back and I sure never saw anything like that.
Squat
bar-10
135-5
165-3
195-2
215-1
235-1
245-1 5lb PR
255-1 add belt
265-1
270-1
275-0 boooo However the 270 is a long sought after double body weight raw squat
225-5 no belt my other big goal
225-2 BB goaded me into doing two more immediately after the 5 because I said the 7 at 215 on Monday was harder
Thanks for all the nice compliments on my PR. I have to say that I have been inordinately pleased with myself over it. Maybe I don’t get out much but I don’t care.
Thursday March 22
Front squat
bar-7
115, 135, 140, 142.5, 145, 147.5, 150, 152.5 - all for 5. This week I got my 5 at 152.5
155-2
Power cleans
95-3
105-3
110-3
115-2x1
120-1
All superset with smashing tiles off my bathroom wall.
Does anyone know how to get tile glue off plaster?
Damn you’re strong. “Inordinate” wouldn’t even begin to describe how pleased I’d be with myself if I could ever achieve a 2xBW squat. Especially given your limb lengths (and mine).
Speaking of which, if you had shorter legs you’d look a lot like Coan with your new style of deadlifting. You look strong in that video, with more in your future. Really impressive lifting.
