I can understand that. I’m currently on my first ever bulk (deliberate one) and my waist and hips have gone up about an inch, but are stationary now, whilst my weight increases. I wasn’t eating bread or dairy prior too, so in assuming, hopefully, that my waist increase is due to water/bloat. Which I get a fair bit of from stuffing myself.

Im just glad my numbers are going up, in feeling ‘biggger’ and stronger too. Just gotta keep plugging on. I had previously a massive mental block as I hate getting a larger waist, but those time I’ve persevered. [/quote]
I wouldn’t mind my waist getting bigger if everything else was getting bigger also lol

you are going to put on some fat, if you are doing this without drugs, just need to accept it. If your waist is gaining too fast and not the parts your want to, means you might be eating too much or not lifting hard enough. Maybe a combo of both?

Where is Z at?

Anyways Chobbs, just stay the course. Just next time for arms when you hit rep number 8 and are going to stop, take the pacifyer out of your mouth and do 2-4 more reps. I mean this in a funloving way so dont take offense to it :stuck_out_tongue: just something I tell myself in my head during my reps.

Things will not be linear at first, you wont gain a solid pound every week, just keep grinding and lifting like a madman and things will work. Something will always be hurting or bothering you, whether it is a joint or a muscle. The mirror and scale will fuck with your head. You will be really fucking hungry alot, or really fucking stuffed and bloated alot. Food will turn into a chore. Lifting will be a fucking grind. Nobody close to you will really understand why you are doing this or taking it so serious.

You will not reep the rewards until you have been doing it for a long fucking time, and even then, most of it wont seem worth all of the BS you put up with until you hit that ‘tipping point’ and there is no going back. Your aches and pains wont matter, food will just be fuel, you will get disapointed when you dont get DOMs on your legs and the people who didnt get it will start asking you for advice.

So just shut the fuck up and lift, eat and sleep :D. You got this big Chobbs.

We all do at some point chobbs, keep up the good work.

Branch warren’in it

legs

anyone else starting to see some imbalances on the left…or is it just me

front

Triceps have a nice pop, got ab definition, chest and traps are thickening up. Keep it up bud.

How are strength gains coming for ya?

I think your fine bro. It could be the what the camera and you are positioned.

Man is it just me or does it look like you have small knee joints. Your quads are going to look huge when you pack on some more mass.

Keep pushing it bro. When I first got into training. I fucking killed myself. I trained real hard. My mindset was someone who could bench 315 squat 400 dl 500 is not gonna be small. So I did whatever it took to get to those numbers. Unfortunately that mentality led to me tweaking my rotator preventing me from really bb benching at all but who cares live and learn.

Anyways my point is train even harder. The great thing about starting out is that your weak, no offense, and this weakness means you can fucking go all out on trying to add more weight to the bar without having to be so worried about injury. Not to say you are immune from injury but when I was pressing the 80 lb dumbless I could do really push myself with less worry but now I make sure to warm up and stretch properly, the whole nine yards because if I make a mistake with the 120s or 130s it will be a a month of light training which I hate. I think twice before trying to jump up in weight because sometimes even just setting the weight down I can tweak something.

I’ve never really noticed about my knees, but who knows? Appreciate the feedback

Slowly but surely are coming…legs are somewhat stalling/decreasing but I think it’s because of my lower back. The compliments are much appreciated brother!

Looks like you are thickening up nicely. Good work man.

Good work! Your tris look like they’re coming along very nicely.

Looking good. Keep up the hard work. How’s the back feeling? Getting enough soft tissue work & stretching?

Lower back is feeling a little overwork, I always do my glute bridges and shit I forget what they’re called but you get on all fours and put your right hand out and your left leg and vice versa and just hold it and that has helped a ton. I stretch with a thick band that I have and that really seems to help.

Thanks for the compliments fellas, really motivates me.
