Not very well, glad you can put off the pillaging and whatnot to look out for her. The trip sounds like lots of fun.

update on the BF/Cardio program

during the trip to AZ, I had 2 bacon cheeseburgers and about 1 1/2 gallon of beer (kiltlifter, good shit).

and as you can imagine, this set me back on my BF goals…but I am back on track, have just over 30 days until the trip to Iceland and am determined to make it.

I found that the re-hab facility that we have my Moms in is just medicating her, and not getting her up and around, so we are fishing around for another facility. what do old people do that don’t have advocates?

so, goals are to limit the food intake, no alcohol and am going to run 1 mile 3 times a week in addition to the training. this should get me closer.

dinners will consist of small salads eaten prior to 6 pm. bfast of fruit. this oughta get me on the right track.

stay tuned~[/quote]

No alcohol and salads for dinner-good luck! I’d rather just jack my cardio and limit carbs after 6pm.

thanks Scotto~

yeah Centurion, the whole ‘no alcohol’ thing isn’t working so well, so I’ll give your diet advice a shot!

Saturday - Chest

20 min elliptical
weighted sit ups - 65lb dumbell

DB FB -
80’s x 12-9 x 6

Pec Dec - 15 reps with 3 second squeeze

Tri’s

what i have been doing is keeping the weight low and increasing the intensity by increasing reps and keeping the time between sets to 30-60 seconds. it is really interesting how little weight you need on this program to train you muscles.

Funny story below,

So earlier today myself and my training partner were chatting in between my sets(he works at the facility I work @ as well, hes on lunch) and one of my clients come up to me and states " that fella ovver there is very timid and wants to know if those two big Viking-looking-Men are nice and could he ask for advice?" LOL

that is hilarious - no denying your heritage! Vikings are popular these days, you’re riding a wave of popularity~

Tues afternoon - Running!

came home from work and went running around the park. it’s about 1/2 mile to the park - then 1 mile around the park, then the run home.

more of a run/walk - the lungs and heart did great, but the muscles and the joints need to have some love and attention~ was a little sore last night, but streched and foam rolled, this morning everything seems to be in good shape~

Nice job on the running.
Running still sucks though.
