Chins/Pullup Bar

Hey anyone have any tips/pointers/products for increasing the width of pullup bars at the gym?

I hate not getting any variety with the pencil-thin bar at my gym. Thought about wrapping a towel around it but that won’t add too much girth.

In the summer I used to do chins on round soccer net polls and found that the width really worked my core more so then just the back with the skinny bar.

Towels or foam pads are the most common.

Or you can hang towels or ropes off the bar and pull yourself up off them for variety.

Get a squat bar sleeve.

You need smaller hands.
