Flex hangs a few

right arm down the centerline of my body,left hand right up tight to it using only 2 fingers. I get the flex hang…it teaches you to lock down the shoulder and hold a peak contraction. So far I’m not seeing any progress, so I thought doing some chins with a slight disadvantage might also inch me closer. My left forearm cramped up a few times

chins 6x5, 1x6 did these right hand supinated , left hand out wide pronated, trying to focus on my right and let the left stabilize and pick up the slack…I don’t know if it helps toward my goal but my right bicep is fried…
my wife and kids are working today…I’m not…the castle is mine and I’m the King! at least until 6pm…

Its just over 6 weeks to meet… So I either start a 6 week peaking cycle or I just keep moving forward and show up at the meet and have a good time and see what happens…its just a push/pull so I do not have to worry about my nemesis the evil squat… thoughts?

Have you noticed how your pushup posting has prompted others to suddenly start posting pushups?
I am guilty of that!
I haven’t done every day push-ups since I first got to where I could do them, which is a story in itself.
We did progressive push-ups, back when I was in high school. And the sucked!
Paul, $20 says you can do a double on 1-arm pull-ups before I can do a double with both arms!
That is a goal!

That’s okay. I could force out a couple of pull-ups. Unless you want perfect form, from a dead hang, then one would be an accomplishment.
If you are happy with your progress stay the course OG. If not, find a 6-week peaking program you like and give it a go.
