Pine pollen? oh…my wife would HATE it there! If she looks at a pine, she breaks out.

Weighted chins? Now you’re just rubbing it in!
That’s why I do lat pulls. Any attempt I make at chins is classified as “weighted”.

Solid and consistent training OG, Sounds like my weekends all summer long, minus the pool part of course.

Skip and Zman- The pollen is yellow and coats everything. I washed my car and before I could dry it off it had a coating of yellow in the water. Pine pollen isn’t too bad of an allergen. But when you are trimming shrubs ( burning bushes) they are coated with the stuff… you eat it, breath it and it covers you… Open the windows in your house to get some fresh air in… and an hour later you see it on the flooring…The peak is over so 1 more week and then its gone. we just haven’t had any help from rain to knock it down so its a tad worse than usual this year.

Skip- even with 35lbs added I barely crack 200lbs…hahaha

This was the worst push-up day so far… my abs are toasted from the weighted chins yesterday, I’ve got a very minor tear in my right bicep…there is some blood under the skin which has now turned black and blue… doesn’t hurt at all unless I touch it. than I lets me know…plus I missed lunch today.

You have about a three week window to get the bicep fixed if it is a tear. After that the odds go way up of a reoccurrence after surgery.

Try some bent over rows and see if you feel it in the bicep tendon. If you do it is likely torn. If not you should be ok. Good luck OG.

Thanks Dave, I’ll hit some rows tomorrow. it doesn’t feel bad at all so maybe I over reacted. Its black and blue but not in a big area…Although I don’t have big arms so the area can’t be big! Did Zerchers today without issue

hmmm I have been doing many recently - work travel.

I do them in count up count down ladders
you count up to ten then back down - you have done 110 pushups

the reps count up- 1, 2,3, 4, 5, 6…10,10,9,8,7,6…2,1

they are fun.
if your into that kind of thing

I hope the bicep is ok. Hopefully because it doesn’t hurt when you lift it isn’t torn. And the pine pollen is terrible up here as well. Gets all over everything.
