I can sure feel my upper back and traps from SGHP…going to incorporate them and take my time learning the movement. I watched a couple of CT videos over the weekend to get more educated.

SGHPs deliver. Your upper back and traps are just growing. Look forward to getting even more scary in pullover shirts.

CT’s foot movement (pushing heels off floor) at beginning of rep really helps propel the bar. My SGHP improved when I learned to do that.

Training looks good OG. Good for you trying the SGHP. I’m fairly certain for me they are an injury, or more than one, waiting to happen so I’ve avoided them.

Dave- my shoulder bugged me a little bit, but next day felt fine. I’ll certainly be cautious

OG, what are you looking to get out of the Zercher’s? When I was knee deep in Highland Games I was doing them for the caber throw but didn’t really get that much carry over to other lifts. Are you coming up from the floor or from a rack.

Taking a deload when I feel like it, as opposed to a schedule, seems to work best for me.
Work is looking good.

That’s what I’m going try…instead of preprogramed. We will see…it means being honest about how I am feeling and how the weights are moving…that could be trouble!

I wondered where you were. Push-ups count and are worth watching, since they are so rare.

just deloading this week Big Man, so I decided to unload instead and take 5 or 6 days off.

going to do 100 push ups a day for the month of June… no set/rep scheme just whatever works that day…
