Yep…nice work, as usual. Being awake for your workout…you might you prefer doing it in your sleep.

thanks Skip, awake AND with a little extra time ( read longer rest between sets) it was actualy fun…plus there were 2 hot chicks moving some nice iron…there are no hot chicks in the gym at 4:30AM.[/quote]
Yes. I have discovered the same benefit of a public gym vs. a home gym.
At 4:30am, I don’t suspect anyone but the mice are in there. Well, and a goat.

Damn, you have chicks in your gym? We haven’t seen any of those in eons at my gym. Perhaps the lack of machines detracts from a certain demographic?
Nice lifting OG. I bet those pause benches were satisfying. Hot chicks in the gym are nice but I always found they take away from my lifting. Speaking of hot I think the idea of conditioning a lot of people have is a little different than mine. Since I am working a physical job that involves me walking with lawn care implements all day in sweltering heat I have to be in shape for that as well as lifting heavy for my powerlifting.
Here is a for instance: Today I was trimming a palm tree that was about 30 feet tall. I have a 13 foot ladder and a 12 foot trimming saw I had to hold overhead for about 50 minutes broken up in to 10-15 minutes at a time in order to trim the tree(shoulder killer). It was perhaps the most draining exercise expenditure I have experienced in a long time. I had muscle spasms in my lats and forearms as well as my hams and quads.
I checked the temperature and it read 101 degrees which was a contributor in my exhaustion. I drank over a half gallon of water during this work and by the time I went to my next job I was completely soaked in perspiration. The previous days lifting was very much affecting my performance and fatigue but I was able to go on. That’s the kind of conditioning I have to maintain.
I’m feeling beat up tonight but I will use my MarcPro and take a bunch of minerals and vitamins as well as eat good food then tomorrow it’s off to break my balls again and hopefully lift in the evening. Did I also mention I do about 15 to 20 minutes of cardio walking with a 25 lbs back pack blower, edger, or weed eater 6 to 8 times a day while working? Conditioning is tons of fun and it earns me money, that’s part of how I look at work-an athletic event. Having a lawn business is not the most cerebral occupation, though I do all my accounting and customer relations(marketing), but I try and get the most out of busting my ass.
Strick- you are 100% correct…much better when it was done.

When doing face pulls, do you grip it palms in or out?..if that makes sense. Maybe it would make more sense to say grip it with your hand on the inside of the rope or outside?
More dead hang chins. I dead hang too…minus the chins.

Skip, I do them both ways…When I do them with my knuckles facing each other I do an external rotation at the top of the movement. If I do them with my hands to the outside its more or less a straight pull to my ears… I set the cable pulley on the top setting so there is a downward slope to the pull.

I was just wondering. I do them like the second way you mentioned. Lexie prefers to do them the other way. I just find hands inside to be uncomfortable.
