How do you guys know he isn’t a professional raider who sells wow gold and makes his living that way? I’m just pointing out the inconsistencies in how you are saying things like “she did him a favour” just because it’s wow. What if he played piano as a hobby and she burnt his piano?
What if he was an avid mountain biker and she totalled his mountain bike? How about if he had a personal library and spent all his time reading so she tore his books up? This is destruction of property plain and simple (I know you’ll argue that it’s just a game and therefore not “property”, but whether you like it or not “virtual” things count as property, just look at current laws, DRMs etc.), regardless of whether you like video games or not, he put time, energy and money into something that she destroyed.

That doesn’t make her actions right. That would be no different than some chick burning my gym membership card or throwing all of my supplements in the trash. No, I may not make my living from that directly, but you can be damned sure that what I do for a living is what allows me to be able to do other things…and if some chick did that to my shit, that would be the end of the relationship.
Go home and throw your girl’s shoes in the trash and see what happens. I am sure she spent quite a bit of time buying those as well.
