The compitition was at St. Turibius Church near midway. There should be another one this fall in Chicago. July 2nd there will be a compitition in Watseaka,IL.

Great contest, I came in 6th in the Under 200 class. That truck pull was a bitch for us little guys.

It was a tough contest. God job. I did surprisingly well in the truck pull. 38 seconds for second place in the event.

it was 250 on a 8" log for reps. I only got 3 but I was having problems with my feet placement and the judge kept making me move them so he could call a good lift. It ate up a lot of time.
As for being strong I could be a lot stronger. There was a lot of guys stronger than me there. I have a lot of work to do. But I feel I did a good job. Especially since I had been sick for 2 months prior to the contest.

I wish I also would’ve know about it. I’m about 30/45 minutes from Midway.
There should be something setup for lifters to know what is going on in their areas.
Ironmind has a page in Milo but, how up to date can a quarterly mag be. There site has the news section that sometimes will mention events prior to them happening. As for strong man there is the NAS inc. wed site. nastrongman.com . I think T- Nation should ad a forum or just a place to list events.
