Measuring in centimeters, right? Yeah, not that impressive.

It’s an inch measuring tape.
And Em, if a pick with an eighteen-inch shaft and a nine-inch head is unimpressive to you, then perhaps your expectations are unreasonable.
Just sayin’.

Have to be careful, though. You might judge a man solely on the size of his pick, only to discover, too late, that he’s a miner.

See what I mean?
Big pick, but only a miner.

Beth, how are you doing? I’ve been worried about you. You sounded so disillusioned and defeated in the other thread.
I had a total lesbian experience this weekend, except without the sex. Met up with a friend, hiked 5.5 miles of rugged terrain (not really rugged, but still, I’m counting it), then went back to her place to drink white wine and process our feelings, then went to bed together (king sized, no touching), then got up and hiked another 5.5 miles.
Then I went back to being het and bought cute clothes on the way home.
Are you doing okay?[/quote]
Em thank you
I am doing much better. Perhaps I am still moderatly disillusioned and cynical, and maybe Orion isn’t so wrong after all. Regardless, I am actually HAPPY!! For the first time in 2 years I really notice and appreciate the beauty of life around me. Even the pain has a bittersweet note - like a really good lager.
This lesbian experience you had - isn’t that called friendship? I dunno, I have both guy and girl friends that I do that with and it’s completely platonic. Although I had an awkward experience this past weekend at a friends house where she snuggled into my lap when we were watching a movie and when I went to leave she kissed me full on the mouth. Tongue in. Oh dear. I’m not really sure what to do about that at this point.
Anyway. I like you Em, we seem to have alot of the same interests. I like wine and talking and books and hiking. I’m not very good at sleeping with people and I have sexsomnia. Other than that we’d be perfect pals!
