back tightening up nicely. hip mobility not where it should be. worked a football game last night. one hour car ride to and from, stood in booth for 4 hours, late night, blah blah blah, whine whine whine, vag vag vag. skipped accessories. bench tomorrow.

off to get daughter stethoscope for nursing school…and eat. at least I can do something productive today.

Had some big boys deadlifting in the house tonite. Beau Moore is prepping for an upcoming meet. Hit 765 for a double then hit 800 for a beltless single. That looks to be his 2nd attempt. Also, Russian strongman, Dimitar Savatinov was pulling tonite. He hit a 700+ triple. There was a good vibe at 22nd Street Barbell tonite.

Wow. That must have been a sight. It looks like your training is humming along, great work.

Being around Mr. Moore while training must be awesome and inspirational.

I just watched Moore doing the audition at your gym. He’s got a little attitude going. Looks like a great place to lift.

Des Moines marathon was this morning. Took me and my training partner 60min to get o the gym. Normal 15min ride. Every side street was blocked off. Our gym is 1 block south of main road they were running on. Had to detour countless times to find a street that allowed us to get where we had to go. F Cardio.

needless to say, training was cut short due to PM commitments.

8am squats. did work sets only. we had a lifter (beau moore) lifting in a local meet today.

beau’s meet. squat 744, bench 556, dl 804. squat was knee sleeves, squat and dl were beltless. we also has 6 lifters at a SPF meet in Missouri. One of our 242s got best lifter. 22nd Street Barbell had best lifters in two states today.
