Thanks, I’ve seen sites like this one and they all seem to be around the same price. I’m wondering if there is somewhere I can go and get my blood tested for less money.??
Probably not or if so, the savings over that would be minimal. You are wanting something for nothing?
You are doing cycling and griping that insurance will not pay for all of your testing? What are you testing for? FT and TT will be off the map in any case. You can get E2 tested for $35 and adjust your AI to suit; or just do the AI. With a CBC, you can check to see if you are prone to getting high hematocrit when on gear to determine if you react that way.
So think about why you are getting tested and skip the cost testing for TT and FT. Numbers from that will simply show that you are on gear and will not have any value. Test CBC and E2. perhaps PSA if you are older, but PSA numbers are needed before you cycle, not during.
Thanks KSman…What do all those abbreviation’s mean though? and is there a good site out there that can help me find out what my blood levels should be? And also help me with learning about how and what to get tested for?[/quote]
TT total T
FT free T or bio available T is available.
AI is aromatase inhibitor, arimidex etc
CBC, complete blood count, typically included cholesterol
E2 is estradiol, created by aromatization of testosterone
PSA, prostate specific androgen, a marker of prostate cancer
